Tyler Courtney will be a strong rookie this year. Also, just added was Kody Kinser.

Just to keep people thinking about Nationals instead of worse things...

I would say I got the strongest 5 rookie cars correct, although Bell was absolutely terrible. No comment on that situation as I voiced my opinion on the subject earlier in the thread.

KWS's Andy Gregg wins rookie of the Nationals without passing a car all weekend, BUT drew an awful pill and went 10th quick on his qualifying night. No one near him in the time trial order was remotely close to him. Very impressive, struggled when there were cars around him, but hey it was his first time at Knoxville. I'd like to see him come back.

Without Cole Wood destroying half the C Main (Gregg included), Gary Taylor wins the rookie award. He was extremely impressive making passes on a track that was difficult to move forward on past the first lap. I had him on the bubble of making it to the B through the C which would have mirrored Danny Dietrich's winning run last year. Taylor can wheel.

Paige looked terrible all week and then finally got it going on Saturday afternoon impressively weaving her way through traffic en route to a B main win. Also, made Jason Meyers look like an orange cone in the heat race and that was just priceless. Tough break to end her week, hopefully she comes back. I still believe she's the top female in the country over New York's Zemken and Ohio's Taylor Ferns.

Colby Copeland. I like this kid. The California product's most impressive move was rolling back under Brady Bacon in the D main for the 5th spot. Sharp looking car, good with the fans, this kid has a bright future. Hopefully he can find some more success back home and make the trip east again. I'm a fan.

Chris Martin looked good in the E and at the back of the D, but struggled early in the week. Courtney, Evans, Tostenson, Kinser were rough. Crabtree didn't finish a race all weekend. And, I gotta ask - why does Lee Grosz pre-enter to this event year after year and never show up?

Dang, Nationals weekend is already over. This sucks. Feel free to rip me apart on anything here, maybe it will help with me feeling down the best week of the year is over already...
