If you are coming to the Knoxville Nationals clear your schedule for Friday (Aug 8th) afternoon from 1-3. Celebrate Community Church (directly across the highway from turns 1 and 2) will be hosting a Steve Kinser Tribute. This exciting and fun event will be hosted by "Winged Nation" co host Steve Post. Steve Kinser will be reflecting on his career and accomplishments. Guest speakers will include Andy Hillenburg (who is making his first trip back to Knoxville since 2001), Danny Smith, Kenny Jacobs and Shane Carson. There is also a great chance of other drivers stopping in depending on how their qualifing nights go. This is going to be event to honor "the king of the outlaws" with stories and a lot of laughs. There are no tickets being sold! We will be asking for a "free will" donation with all proceeds being donated to charities. The facility will seat around 600 people so come early! The doors will open at 12:15. If you are a Steve Kinser fan or just love hearing good racing stories, THIS IS AN EVENT YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!

Don't take my comment as being a jerk or telling you what to do as its up to you guys, but I would like to suggest if you record it to simply put it up on Youtube for pople who were not able to be there to see for free. I know your taking donations at the event and thats fine, I just think there would be alot of people interested in watching this after the event but would question if many would pay for it where as if it was available on youtube you'd probably get alot of views.

Looking back now I've realized our timing wasn't the best! But she'll thank us later when her birthday is when the biggest party of the year is in town. We're still awaiting her arrival...she will no doubt be born in the next 10 days though. A Knoxville Nationals baby for sure!
