We had an old, white #15 I've never seen before at Santa Maria tonight listed as being driven by "Cotton Farmer from Atascadero." The only CF I'd ever heard of (and I =am= dating myself pretty obviously) was =Al= "Cotton" Farmer from Ft. Worth, Texas, who ran AAA, IMCA, AARC and USAC open wheelers all over the place (including Carrell and Ascot) in the 'late '40s through mid '60s. He occasionally even won against Parnelli, A. J., Roger Mc., Rodger W., Chuck Hulse, Hurk, et al. Anyone know anything about the "new" Cotton Farmer?

Might be related to Luke Warmwater or "Smoke" Johnson. Their was a Scottish driver that went by A. N. Other. He went on to have quite a bit of success. Most of us knew the Scotsman as Jackie Stewart.
