Bob Newton of Hoosier Tire has passed away. He did more for the racing industry than we will ever know. Thanks for all of your help Bob!

We at American Racer and our parent company, Specialty Tire America, Inc. are saddened at the news that Bob Newton has passed away. He was a fierce competitor, the type that makes our country as great as it is, and a true lover of racing. Our company and Hoosier are far more similar than they are different with respect to building an equipment intensive enterprise geared strictly for niche markets. We know first hand what that takes and admire the guts, gumption and determination that Bob displayed in building Hoosier into the very capable competitor that it is.
