“Hollywood” Returns in Best Finish since Return to Sprint Cars!

At the August 17^th point race at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway, Michael “Hollywood” Tarter recorded his top finish yet since his return to the ¼ mile bullring.

The night saw a heavy track and all sorts of passing as cars roared around the high banks.The #35 Budget Landscaping, RCM Designs, Chico Motorsports machine timed in 11^th quick for the night with a 12.759.That left him in the 3^rd starting spot for the 2^nd heat race of the night. Finishing 5^th in the heat put him inside 6^th row for the feature.At the drop of the green it was evident that this was going to be a great race.

“Hollywood”held his lines, carved his way around the ¼ mile oval with prestine control.A few quick hops by a few cars in front of him put Tarter right where he needed to be, and at the drop of the checkers he had carved his way up to a 6^th place finish.Recording the best finish for the #35 car since “Hollywoods” return.

The following week at Silver Dollar Speedway, Tarter returned the #35 car to fame with a 13^th fast time of the night at 12.642 out of the 23 cars on hand for the night.

Lining up on the pole for his heat, “Hollywood” Tarter took the green, looking polished with the recent seat time, after a few run ins, ended up in the 5^th spot at the checkered.

Starting deep in the field for the A main feature event, the #35 car was primed for quite a race. The track was fast, and the west coast’s were on hand for the event with King Of California champ Jonathan Allard among the heavy hitters.

After lining up 16^th, the field got spread out with 22 laps of green flag racing. Tarter was not only holding his own, but holding off race leader Jon Allard for almost 8 laps, showing seat time and raw talent is something that runs in the Tarter bloodline.

Finishing in the 13^th spot Hollywood Tarter would turn in his best laps yet as he muscled the car around the ¼ mile famed bullring.Many were impressed with Tarters performance that night and looking forward to the final points race on Aug.24^th at Chico CA Silver Dollar Speedway.
