All I know is that they have been VERY busy working on ironing things out for tonight and trying to prevent a repeat of last night's shortcomings. Apparently there are a LOT more folks wanting the video stream this year than last ... perhaps due to gas prices and fans not traveling - or just more interest in the video feed overall...?

Whatever the case - I know they are good people and are working HARD on making things work right.... And if you've never done it - you don't know what it's like to put on such an undertaking... just try to be patient (as hard as that may seem to be....). wink

I have no doubt they are good people working hard, but that doesn't help us any. Tell the good hard-working people to work a little faster please. Thank you.

Ordered and having problems again. Flash applet pushing to a site that does not exist. Getting a parked domain page in the frame that loads the flash player. Nice.

I used that link just now to pay another $23.75 and it says page not found. I've about had it with these ass-clowns

Hold off on using that link I posted. It does let you order, but it looks like if you can't see the normal order link, you aren't going to connect to their video until you do. I got a 404 error saying the page couldn't be found inside the player window. They are really good about emailing back quick, so I expect it to be solved soon.

I tried it and from what I can see, it is the link to buy last night's race!!! "night 1."

Coming through loud and clear tonight, no errors, no continual buffering - they got it sorted... cars lining up for hot laps.

Good catch on it being last nights. They sent the link, I clicked real quick and purchased without reading the fine print... and you are correct. It says last night. Ooops. They will resolve it. Turn 2 has been really good on rainouts and things like that in making things right.

After my explosion rant last night and a little calmer (a lot calmer) one this evening... they agreed to send me a link for tonight at no charge and as soon as I clicked on it I am up and running. I'm now satisfied (so long as tonight is not a repeat of last night)

As I type... hot lap session #1 is rolling and the announcer is now live.

Enjoy the racing gentlemen.

Thanks for trying to help, but next time please don't post a link to purchase if you aren't 100% sure that it works. I saw that it said night #1 also, but as screwed up as Turn2Media has been, I didn't really think much of it

They're working with me through email. Tried three links, got one that loaded a flash applet that went to a site that doesn't exist. The other two give me a 404 within Turn2's site.

They ARE working very hard trying to take care of everyone -- they may end up taking a bath on tonight considering the costs they are incurring ... but they will make it right ... patience - it's still just hot laps rite now folks...

Dunno know if this will help anyone but you might want to try it. I was caching the old IP locally to the previous server in my DNS cache. Flush your DNS and then try the site again.

1. Win XP: click on Start, click on RUN open a command prompt (cmd).

1a. Win7/8: click on Start, Search, type in cmd.

2. Type in: "ipconfig /flushdns"

3. Try the site again and click on Events.

Hopefully you'll be able to purchase at that point, it worked for me. As long as your ISP's DNS has updated (if you are pointed at it), then you should get the new server.

This is what they just e-mailed to me:"New server dns has not populated to all areas, we cannot speed that process up. been up all night building new server and now dns is populating. We have lots online, so areas are getting it, will take possibly a little bit to get everywhere" As of 8:05 p.m. I still can't give them my money.
