In its 11th running, the Budweiser Shootout will take place this Friday night at the US 36 Raceway. This is an ASCS Midwest & Warrior Region event that will once again uniquely feature $500 to win heat races courtesy of Apple Market Grocery Stores, Casey's General Stores, Bill's Camper Sales of St. Joseph and of course Klein Motors and RV's in St. Joseph. The Bud girls will also be out selling 50/50 tickets with all proceeds going to the night's Hard Charger in the A main. Plenty of chances for drivers to take home some money - without even winning the feature.
This is always a great event that fans in the area have come to look forward to year after year. If you have deprived yourself of seeing a winged sprint car zip around the highbanks of US 36, come get your fix this Friday!
