Thanks for the analysis of the conditions last night. After all the rain we got, the heavy cushion only made it 3/4's of the way up the track, but the racing between McMahan & Solwold was great.
I recall a similair night, a few years ago, when the cushion/ledge was in a similar location, but much deeper and more dangerous. Earl brought out the grader and completely reworked the track, that took over an hour. After the late start last night, I guess that wasn't an option.
Overall, the reduction in banking on the low side would be helpful, but I can also recall Steve Kinser using the low line to win after rain delays a few years ago. I suppose the next best test will be on June 30th for the finale of the Ohio Sprint Speedweek, hopefully I'll be there.
