The bright side is that the more dirt they throw up there by running where they are the quicker it will get back to where they used to run. Maybe by the fall or early next year. I don't know about the All Stars but the WOO shows nobody has ran away with the win & within the the last 5 laps you don't really know who is going to win.

Tommy,

Thanks for the analysis of the conditions last night. After all the rain we got, the heavy cushion only made it 3/4's of the way up the track, but the racing between McMahan & Solwold was great.

I recall a similair night, a few years ago, when the cushion/ledge was in a similar location, but much deeper and more dangerous. Earl brought out the grader and completely reworked the track, that took over an hour. After the late start last night, I guess that wasn't an option.

Overall, the reduction in banking on the low side would be helpful, but I can also recall Steve Kinser using the low line to win after rain delays a few years ago. I suppose the next best test will be on June 30th for the finale of the Ohio Sprint Speedweek, hopefully I'll be there.

Congrats to Paul. He's a good guy.
