At the FRC last night, Sammy and Fast Freddie had what appeared to be cast aluminum dry sump pans with some interesting plumbing. Does anyone know anything about these? Would this be an "Ott" thing? It looked like the pan had what appeared to be 3 different sumps at the bottom of the pan. Interesting! Just nosing for some information.

Seen the same set-up on Jason Johnson's 360 engine and he runs Ott as well. Curious as well to know details as to manufacturer and if there are any HP advantages to using it! Maybe we can get some reliable info from the engine builders?! How bout you Wesmar, Ott, or Gaerte?

If they are OTT's, it's probably to let the rods come out easier...
