The feature did have a couple of hard wrecks. Jason Meyers and Kerry Madsen tangled early in the race, leaving Meyers upside down in his No. 14 sprint off Turn 4. The car was destroyed but Meyers brought out a back-up car and finished 18th. Now for the World Of Outlaws Rule Book: 5.6.1 Backup Cars A.) A backup car may be introduced at any time between qualifying and the start of the A-feature due to the original car not operating properly and/or from extensive damage. Such determination will be at the sole discretion of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Officials. Any such change will result in the driver starting at the rear of the race in which the driver has qualified for. If a driver changes cars after practice, that driver will remain in his drawn position for time trial qualifying and will be positioned in subsequent races accordingly. If a backup car is introduced, the car must pass pre-race technical inspection prior to any competition. A backup car may be obtained from any source and does not have to be part of a team’s original equipment. Once a car has been withdrawn from an event, that car will not be allowed to be resubmitted to competition during that event.

No backup car. They repaired the one he wrecked.

I also witnessed this. The 14 car looked like it was junk as they picked it up with the tow truck. They then proceeded to set it down in the staging area back behind turn 3. There was a long delay due to another car (21k - Thomas Kennedy) that was up against the cement retaining wall outside of turn 3-4. During this time you could see the team in the distance scrambling. That's when the realization set in that they were trying to get it back in the race. Those of us who noticed were in absolute awe. Did the WoO give him a little special treatment and more time than they would have given a local? Absolutely. But it still doesn't discount the fact that they somehow repaired what looked to be a trashed race car - not perfect by any means but enough to salvage some points. It obviously wasn't as torn apart as it looked - but I still have never seen anything like it. And I had a pretty good seat, considering the crash happened about 200 feet directly in front of me.

The driver of the 14 made more "freinds" in Grand Forks. Does he have any friends left on the track? First class dinkhead, proves it several times a year. The only guy in the field who can knock cars off the track and explain how it wasn't his fault.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Karma after the chop-offs he gave to Madsen heading into turn 1 before that and after sending Dollansky off the track in the heat after a slider.

Does anyone have any video or know of any pictures of Meyer's car before and after?
