Nice Photos. So where is the "new" Lovelock Speedway in relation to the old one? Looks about a zillion times nicer than the old joint did....

Thanks! I think they're within a couple of miles of each other. Haven't researched it yet, but i do know that the original iron fines from the old track surface are on the new track now. The facility has come a long way in it's two year infancy, and just keeps improving little by little..........

I can't find it on Google Earth but based on the directions on their site the new racetrack is nowhere near the old one being on the north side of I-80 for starters. Also seeing a Bob Cooney as a 2010 "director" and wondering if he is any relation to the one from San Jose many years ago.
