I read a press release from TSR that said the prospective driver had to get along with Schatz. I believe that would narrow the pickings down quite a bit.

I believe Mark Dobmeier and Donny get along. Been friends for quite awhile. Run the same chassis. Both ND guys. I could see a very, very outside shot of that happening. Mark owns a business in GF and would probably be able to fly with Donny to and from events. Something to ponder anway...

Seeing mark dobmeier out on the road would be cool. I have never seen him race so i would love to see him fulltime.

I would vote for Mr. Dobmeier. He has the skill behind the wheel and is laid back enough that he'd be easy to get along with as a teammate.

give up with Tim Shaffer going to the 20 ride...he's having fun.. winning races.. and making good money for him and his team..I heard he enjoys being home during the week... and as Janet has alreadyed posted he's in the 83 car.
as far as Dale Blaney goes...he too has that special bond with his car owner George Fisher..they are always FAST and a contender where ever they go...plus Dale is back at a school as a basketball coach so I would say he has a full time job..is it the job he wants? who knows but it's solid and he gets to play on the weekends in that red#2

I hope Daryn Pittman gets the ride. As far as Tim Shaffer goes Janet Holbrook posted on PitGate that he declined the ride along with Stevie Smith. She did say a few others as well but couldnt confirm that so she didnt post their names.

I totally agree, if anyone would give Wayne Johnson a chance with a little money to where he didn't have to worry about every little thing,(ordering every piece on the car, trailer parts, keeping the maintance on the rig & doing most the driving, washing it, taking the car to the car wash every night (usually 2 or 3 in the morning), then getting a few hours of sleep to wake up and have to do the maintance on the car. He is very good on the equipment. Shoot just thing if he had a full time crew chief. GOOD LUCK WAYNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
