Hey Jimmy - best of luck to you and your childrens racing endeavors at JRP next season. I know it's been easy for most to overlook considering much of the negativity associated with it - but you've been one of the most classy reps for Enid Speedway on this forum the entire year. Hope you and the youngin's have a blast at JRP next year.

I do hope we could wind up attending the same track and finally meet at some point in 2010. and hope as well that you will join us once more for the 2010 SFS Fantasy League. It's rather unclear how many of those we're gonna have left.....at least for SFS............

Thanks Cody and I am looking forward to the fantasy league again next year. I had alot of fun my rookie year and my son is going to give it a try next year with me. Thanks for all you do with the fantasy league I know you put alot of time into it and we all are so appreciative of everything you do for all of us to have fun. JRP only races every other Saturday so between the lake on the off weekend Im going to make it up there a few times to watch the races at SFS. Looking forward to meeting you next season.

Go to www.juniorracingleague.com for more info on the small cars. We run 1 adult class with the kids and it is the Superlites. The superlites weigh around 750lbs with driver and 130hp. They are fast! Check out their site at www.superliteproseries.com . We have Thunderbolts, which are similar to the Superlites, but smaller motors and no suspension for the kids. Then, we have the Mini-Cups, which are in the above photos. (The cars in the above photos where maintained really well, look forward to seeing you out there next year) These are really neat little cars. They go fast, but yet have close racing. Then, we have the can-am series. Kids can start as young as 5 years of age in this series. Alf has a school for them at the beginning of the season, then at the end of the season. Graduates from his school are then eligible to run the season with the Junior Racing League. We also run a Front Wheel Drive class for kids only. JRP is done for the season, but we will start back up in March with Practice Days. We have scale cars for anything from nascar style to indy style. Take a peek! Thanks!

We are planning a get-together for the kids in January (last sat. of the month) at Incredible Pizza to let them stay in touch over the off season, if you and your family are interested in coming. I will let you know the exact date and time when I get the "official" head count. Should know something by December 7th. (The deadline for head count is Banquet night, December 5th) Looking forward to a great season next year!

Thanks for the offer and count us in as long as the weather is good to get there. Driving 229 miles one way in snow or ice wont be much fun. The kids and us would love to be there and get to meet all of you. Please let me know when you find out more, Thanks again.

The dwindling car count, the lack of concession sales, the animosity between the promoters and the drivers, Longpine giving up etc... is just the excuse the fair board has been looking for.

Don't look for there to EVER be racing at Enid Speedway again.

I for one hate to see this happening. Hard to believe that Colville was involved after the many years he raced there.

You make some good points but I dont agree on there will be no racing at Enid ever again. I agree there wont be any racing next season '2010' but after that I really thank Enid will be racing again starting in the 2011 season.

Just save your money and come out in 2011 with a bad ass car and motor. You can look at it this way, it gives you a extra year to build it. Your my friend and you know I will keep in touch with you.
