Yes Grady, that would be Uncle hawk Berry Goldwater lake...

NO, please NO!! Don't start another thread about politics, please Kenny! Please! It only sets off one of your fellow Copper Stater's into a tirade about all the commies in Hollywood or the socialists in the White House. Next will be the trade unions as he seeks out and labels America's enemies. Smile

Trip

Nice try but everyone knows there are no commies in Hollywood and no socialists in Washington. We now have no enemies in this country.

He called me a sand Carp KOP, should I be offended?. LOL If he's not careful, I'll start telling story's about the big one's Spanky Spangler and I would catch in the crosscut canal down in Phoenix when we were kids.

This is where I live now 88.. http://prescottpictures.com/ AZ is the most diverse state in the union, not all sand by a long shot... Come on up and see our little dirt track sometime... http://www.pvraceway.com/ . You and I can fish for Carp all day long in the clear waters of Goldwater lake... I'm due for a BIGFISH anyway, and go to the races at night. Only one thing though,..no whinning if we don't catch a BIGFISH and if the show runs late, we'll just do some catfishin afterwards. It's all good.

Kenny

Where is that at "Goldwater Lake" I've been here all my life and never heard of it.

It's only about 4 miles from town Grady.. It's up Mt Vernon street and that's right off the main drag in the middle of town...Here's a link and video.. Come up and see me and don't forget we have the worlds oldest Rodeo in July. It goes for a week and this place jumps. That's were I ran into Spanky Spangler again. He was hanging with Grizzly Adams, Dan Haggerty

A lot of Cali people up here now. I tell them that Cali is mo better now, and they can go home, but they don't believe me..LOL... Lynx lake is 7.5 miles from town. I live right up from Whiskey row and the couthouse plaza. It's almost exactly 100 miles from my place to Manzy.

We were headed out to Perris early Saturday, but had a stop to make at Orange Show in San Berdoo for a friends son who was making his Quarter midget debut @ 6 yrs old. Before we got there, the club voted and signed to go USAC which would limit tire costs if anything.

Unexpectedly, a USAC official (Kevin Miller) announced $10 tickets for the Sprint Car races @ Perris. The gals at the PAS' ticket window rejected them, we asked for the promotor, threw around Kevin's name and the discounts were accepted with apologies.

So, there were some discounted tix, right place, right time. Show was good, a bit long due to the wind blowing and drying out track. Management did an excellent job trying to keep moisture in.

If $30.00 is to much for you then stay home and dont complain

Track owners have to pay the scantion fee no matter how many people show up and I would like to thank the PAS for providing me with great entertainment for the past 14 years

Buy Season Tickets.

I buy season tickets every year. This year, they are less expensive then ever. Buy 25 season tickets for $250.00. Only $10.00 per ticket and are good for EVERY race (except the So. Cal Fair, which are usually $8.00) the 4th of July show and the Oval Nationals. You can also exchange tickets for reserved tickets for the 4th of July show. Just take some tickets to the Souvenir stand, pick your seats and exchange season tickets for the reserved 4th of July tickets.

Simply phone Kim at the track at 1-951-940-0134, give her a credit card number then pick up 25 tickets at the will call window. They no longer sell tickets at the PAS office. It doesn’t matter if you use your tickets all at once or thru out the season. If you use them all, you can purchase additional tickets for only $10.00 because you are a season ticket holder. Even if your only able to attend a few races at the PAS each year and bring some friends you can’t go wrong. I would still gladly pay $30 for the for the Feb. 28 show and more for other races but why? Lew
