Heard late last night that Steve Smiths' Pro Stock was protested by Brill and locked up under the stage and will be torn down sometime today. Also heard that Smith wanted to proteste Brill, but wasn't allowed. Anybody else hear anything like that?

They most likely will not find anything. Smith's owner is a classy individual and is very involved. I highly doubt they will be found illegal. Brill has it out for them anyway. Ought to checks Marks slick willy fuel. lol.

mark brill is just a sore loser. you know he can keep up with steve so if steves cheating that must mean hes cheating. he will never be half the driver steve is. hes just a jack###.

I heard it was locked up also and will be torn down after the races tonight. Just what I heard and I don't know it to be fact. Also heard he was DQ in the mods for a shock or something.

So is he not racing tonight? How does that work?

Yeah he had borrowed a shock and it turned out to be aluminum body. I didn't know they were illegal. How hard is it to get steel bodied shocks in the configurations you'd like? Just wondering that and why are the aluminum shocks illegal in that class? You got a tricked out chassis and high dollar engines and can't run aluminum shocks? Hmmmm.

Just how can Mark be a sore loser when he wins all the time?  Let's see...didn't he take a big ass trophy home on Saturday night?  Yep, think he did.  Didn't he win the SFS Championship 4 out of the last 5 years?  Yep, think he did. Not to mention all the other races he won.  He drives his own car, builds his own car and wins with his own car.  Not someone elses car. That is what all you chicken shit people have a problem with.  He wins on his own without kisses someone elses butt and you can't stand it.  You gotta cheat, bitch and moan because you don't have what he has.  Oh and by the way all the free time you have talking about Mark is just a compliment to him.  And  you guys hate him because you can't be him.  Poor pitifuly you.  Get a freaking life or a faster car.  Obviously you don't have either. 

You're right. I do want to be Mark Brill. Speaking of kissing someone elses butt, how does mark's smell? I believe he is the one who was found with an additive in his fuel this year. I believe he had to have Smith's car locked up all day so they couldn't work on it so he could have an advantage to win Saturday. He sure is smart by drawing negative attention to himself and trying to start up a race track. Never met Mark so I'm in the wrong to talk about him like that but you are sure quick to curse and call us names.

now this thread is about to be just like the rest of the bashing ones. So before it gets bad has anyone ever called Mark at his shop or stopped by his pits to see why he was DQ'd for his fuel. Im not going to get into to it on here but i do have to say that this i heard form a friend thing is very inaccurate. Its like that old game when someone starts a story and passes it on, then what happens when it gets to the other end...... its all wrong. Mark is a great driver, so is Smith. It showed Sat. night when they were racing side by side. So before david has to get on here for cursing and bashing, can yall please get the facts right. I dont favor Mark anymore than any other driver out there but wheather you like him or not dont bash others for lack of info.

Not sure what your definition of classy is but if it's cheating every week to win, than your right Smith's a classy guy. They found him illegal in one class Friday night because of shocks and his prostock was illegal also, but because his last name is not Brill they allowed it. As far as fuel..what about the cloudy fuel found Friday night in a winners car..again that driver got away with it because his last name was not Brill. If I was other drivers I would be raising hell. Seems like the Smith's get away with whatever and he beating everyone of them by cheating.

Mark Brill is not a sore loser...he doesn't lose only when Steve is cheating. You can tear down Mark anytime and at least he can put his engine back together...and you won't find anything illegal on his car. When Steve wins 4 championships in a row..then he can consider himself a driver..he's just common until then!!!

The pro stock was illegal too? Tell us about that. This is the first i've heard of it. I heard that Mr. Brill gave up the protest money to Steve saturday night. That means he was legal. Don't it?

I'll tell ya what I have heard from the guys I know at the drag strip. Mr. Brill caused so much havoc there they told him to load his stuff and not come back. Now we are hearing the same messages at SFS.

Steve has won championships !!! Alot of em! Driving ability and hard work with alot lesser equipment I might add. If you think Steve can't put together a engine think again. They been doing it for as many years as anyone. Some people get breaks some don't. Talk all the crap you want but you should be ready to back it up.

You guys are beating a dead horse by now. Move on to next year and just work on your own stuff and don't worry about waht the other is doing. Take care of your own racing program.

If it sounds like I'm defending a friend, your damn right I am.

I wasn't going to reply to any of this cause I like Mark and Steve and both of their racing talent. But, if memory serves me correct, Steve did win three or four pro stock championships in a row and is one of the very few who has accomplished 100 wins at SFS. I do believe his record speaks for itself, just as Mark's does.

And by the way, I do believe that this is the third year in a row during winter nationals that this has happened between the two camps and if memory serves correctly, the first shot was fired by Steve Smiths car owner on him, Reed and Beane back that first year.

Leave it alone now.
