Last time I saw Mr. Shuman he looked healthy,happy and enjoying life.A good man ,yes,but it would take a saint on his part to embroil himself in a battle to resurect SCRA for the so. ca.drivers/owners.....what about that Chilli Bowl run..impresive,yes

Watched it live on T.V.,we all cheered with that last great pass,but the yellow/checkered put him back to the previous laps finishing order soooo...oh well,maybe next year?Don't think I'll blame USAC this time

Class act and one of the best ever. Never has been rated where he should be because he chose to remove the wing and run a real sprint car. Many drivers rated above him that couldn't carry his jockstrap, muchless accomplish what he has in his career. Chili Bowl was not a surprise to those who understand his greatness. Happy that he was able to race with Casey, had to have been very special for him and the boy, different then Casey's early days.
