Ok i can't keep my mouth shut any longer...... I've raced a limited schedule this year but have had the chance to race at SFS and Brill multiple times this year. Everytime we go to Meeker we park next to or near Cody. He and his family are a class act and are some of the nicest people you will meet. Cody is a very clean, smooth, and talented driver. However, he is not out there on an unlimited budget like some of the other young guns. He doesn't tear much stuff up and doesn't cause stupid wrecks. I think he would have the best shot of winning a feature out of the "under 18" group of champ sprint drivers. Honestly i think your a pretty shitty person to attack a kid on here when he has done nothing wrong. Grow up!!!!! Good job Cody! Can't wait to get back out there and race with you! Somebody has to end your win streak! lol

Also..... sprincar9 you talk about come to SFS where the competition is, are you implying there is no competition at Brill???? Seems to me Lloyd Clevenger, the most recent winner in the champ sprint division at SFS, was at Meeker the last two weeks when Cody has won.... so suck on that big boy!

Listen Before all of you jump on me iam not bad mouthing anybody but i do do that time time again. I think all of the kids that race deserve props in any class of cars we should not dog the future. And wallers right we are human people make mistakes I mean your own promoter made a mistake he got caught with illegal fuel I just had to throw that in there LOL listen i like mark he has done great things with meeker i have raced with him for years and never had a problem with him and i like racing at his track he is a good guy and he trys to keep his track fair.

It is really sad to see all this nonsense. I have watched "the kid" for a while now. And he is my sons Hero.. Like the guy said above. He is not wrecking anyone out there. He does not say anything if someone hits him. Whether it is on purpose or not. After the race he goes to his pit area and gets out of his car still as a 14year old kid. Not a hateful no it all winner. Whether he wins or whether he loses…Don't be hurt if "the Kid" passes you.. Tell him what a great job he does. It is really sad to see that Not only does this 14 year old have to put up with all the peer pressure of the world. That he has to read about all the negative stuff that you put on here. If you go to the website for BMS. You will see that Cody is very far in Points. That he has showed up as many times as the 2^nd place person. So Quit with all the bull. Go watch this amazing kid race. Yes with plenty of other talented kids out there. They even have a 8 yr old and a 10 year old that are starting out. Them little boys can fly.. Yea they don't run with the "Big Boys" just yet. But give them a few years. Are you going to be on here dogging them? I would sure hope not…..Dont take away the spot light. Go make another one…..GREAT JOB "KID"

i think that y'all are all taking this to extreme and talking all kinds of crap and i think that you are all reading it wrong seems like Sprintcar9 was just trying to say talk about all the other kids that do good and all the other drivers that also do good. Sprintcar 9 even said in one of his comments that he wasn't bad mouthing anyone and that he thought the kid was good so i think that you need to read all of it before you write crap and start bad mouthing people yourselves!

Cody has just started racing the 360's.He is obviously impressive.Soon he will recieve his share of wins @ any track they choose.Get ready.He is another fast kid that came up from the ranks of mini-sprints, where he mostly raced @ Port City ( the fastest micro track in the country ).He will do all his talking on the track.

first and fore-most I just wanted to say I have read every post on here and in the beginning there was no bad mouthing to anyone it was just about trying to get some praises to some other young kids out there other then this Cody kid I'm guessing only races out at BMSpeedway, And yeah I have been out there to that speedway and no it is nothing to get so hyped up about not many sprint car drivers go there to race, some who do automatically get to go to the A main, and if you haven't been there in a week or you just don't go every week you start in the back and so for this Cody kid who is there every week gets to start up front, And it is a deadly track so it is usually who starts up front stays up front .

So how you morons look at it is crap, and to the practical people out there this BMS "THE KID" ain't

uh oh. this just took a turn for the worse. Now its gonna get ugly. I'm glad i don't have any opinions. lol im just a pushtruck driver. so i guess this is where the green flag waves. how many are gonna be left at the checks. hahaha.

And just some food for thought, this whole thread started by giving a good 14 yr old Sprint car driver some credit and for some reason, all you haters got all riled up because we didnt say something about other young drivers and hijacked this thread with your idiotic comments. If you had any balls at all, you could start your own thread and mention the others as much as you wanted too, but no, you had to bash this young man. Your all stupid and it shows!!!

I dont care what track you go to, to win an "A" feature anywhere, you have to be pretty good at driving. Most of us who race know that. So its obvious to us, the ones that are bashing this kid dont race or know much about racing except that they can race on video games and crash into everyone or hit the reset button and start over again.

And also to say that BMS is nothing to get hyped about, I tell you what, NO one can drive like an idiot at BMS and walk away with their car because of the concrete walls all the way around the track. SFS, you can bonzai every corner and if you car doesnt stick, you can run off the track and still race. WOW, like that takes alot of talent.

Unfortunately, i had to use your services this weekend, but was glad you were there when i needed you. You guys do a great job helping us racers out. Never can say thanks enough.

I'm gonna be nice nonwing.... moron explains himself in the first half of his name. I just think it is really sad that nobody can ever look at the good in anything anymore. A young man is having success and everyone wants to tear him down for it. Cody is a great kid and has a very promising future in racing. I don't know why people can't ever praise people when they do well or even let others praise people without bashing them. This is rediculous. How would you feel if it was your son or daughter getting bashed for no apparent reason. There is a lot of young talent out there. I don't care whether it is a 410 win at Knoxville or a pure stock feature at Ada, a win is something to be proud of. We all put our hearts, souls, and PRIDE into our racing. GROW UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

Let me get this straight Matt was acutually working?????? lol Everytime I looked up he was hanging around our pit.

I did not know Matt before this year other than on here but if anyone needs any help on their car he is there to help. I saw him do some things Sat night that alot of guys would never do with push trucks.

Yeah, he was. I got to see the races from the Grandstand Sat. and was laughing my ass off watching him take on the big ol' tractor tire in turn 4. That tire has gotten the better of most vehicles that have tried to take it on.
