I know a few years ago Rico had mentioned they were building toward a full WoO season then came along the HL. I doubt he will go WoO next year but it would be great to see. I mean he can't check the box if he doesn't cross the track! Who would like to see him go WoO? Who thinks he might? He could become only the second driver to have championships in both National series. Would he have a legit shot at the title in his first full season?

Rico won't go full time WoO until the merger.

It would be great if Rico, Reutzel, Courtney, and several others did....

Rico has a HL charter. In what universe would he go back to the WoO at this point in time?

As in fighting organizations where one organization's champion fights another organization's champion, whose winning? A unification bout.
Gravel or Rico?
Whose winning the undercard? Buddy or Sweet?
Not really sure there is a wrong answer...

Instead of Buddy V. Sweet, I think it'd be Buddy V. Reutzel.
Nevertheless, interesting questions...

I like this idea. 20 laps two cars. Loser pays the winner $100,000.

In the end, it would have been extremely amazing to see them all go at it all season long instead of just guessing. There is only one MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL to determine the greatest. It sucks knowing we have to wonder...
It is what it is...
I think Gravel would have consistently averaged out Rico. Buddy would bust his ass to win as many races as possible because he loves talking in victory lane. There would have to be a three way toss up for 4th with Sweet, Aaron, and Carson. If I was forced to choose a 4, 5, 6... I'd go Carson, Aaron, Sweet. Don't ask me why. I have no clue. Just a feeling. Also just talking national touring.
It was amazing being able to watch all the insanely amazing sprint car racing this year.
Just wish we could have watched the absolute best race the absolute best each and every night.

I hope some day we get to find out but I think over a season Rico & A-Aron would edge out Gravel and Buddy. It sure would be interesting to find out for sure though wouldn't it?

I would strongly disagree with this statement. I view Buddy as one of the few young talents that didn't leave for the asphalt world.

Was there also a team owner prize for finishing first? I suspect there was but I can't find the dollar value. Anyone know what that was on top of the $300,000.
With race winnings and the championship payout he sits at $900,000.

Throw in the fact that Rico, Brad, and Kyle are all from California and have many ties together that go WAY back and I don't think there is a snowballs chance in Hell he ever tours with the Outlaws as long as High Limit exists.

Bud Kofoid will be over $1m if he finishes 2nd in points which he should.

True but Buddy doesn't race for himself. Rico doesn't get a percentage of the winnings, he gets it all plus the owners money.

He also has the owners expenses which is why he's racing for Stewart next year.

New motors are $70K+ takes 5 in rotation. I see the car they are raffeling for NSCHFis valued over $100K hauler mechanics all add up. Some say from $6/10K per night so not all profit. Donny smart one use OPM but get % of purse

True. It must be brutal being a car owner. Not only the cars and crew, but all the travel expenses like motel rooms- they've really gone up in the last few years. No matter how much you win, have to have big sponsorship $ and/or deep pockets. I suspect Rico does really well on merchandise sales which could be a big slice of the pie.
