So breaking this down regarding watered down I looked at the years 21, 22, & 23 pre High Limit.
When looking at the top six in points those years the only driver no longer with the outlaws is Sweet who was champion in 21, 22, & 23.
Conversely positions 7-10 those very same years. Sheldon's 7th in 2023 is the only outlaw still on tour and Spenser Bayston 8th place in 22 & 23 is now HL.
So, Brad Sweet & Spencer Bayston are the only two on the High Limit Roster who placed in the top 10 21 thru 23.
So the 2025 WoO roster still has six of the top ten on tour.
Interestingly enough the following drivers who finished in the top 10 in WoO points during the 21, 22, & 23, seasons are no longer on any roster or charter.
Kraig kinser 8th in 21.
Brock Zearfoss who was 9th , 10th & 9th in those years.
James McFadden who was 7th, 7th & 10th in those years.
Jacob Allen who was 10th and 9th in 21 & 22.
It is my opinion the the start of a second series with huge streaming rights has brought an infusion of sponorship money (good equipment) and young talent! it has been awesome for the sport.
Go back to 1 traveling series and half the streming opportunities, chances are there wouldn't be nearly all the new good equipment or better yet half the opportunities for hungry young drivers looking to establish themselves.
