With Flo, your internet will need to be VERY good and have ZERO interruptions. Both Flo and DV were flawless for me until I switched internet providers a few months ago. Now, DV goes off pretty much without a hitch, but the new internet service is not as solid as the old, and I can tell when I watch something on Flo! We have spoken with our new provider about it, and our next step is running an ethernet cable direct to the Roku---which reminds me, the older Rokus will not run Flo, so if you're running a Roku, update to the latest and greatest.
People want to keep blaming Flo (or DV for that matter) but they will both go off flawlessly 99% of the time if your internet is solid! I know, because I had very solid internet and had zero issues. Address your internet issues, even if your provider claims all is good. I'm trying to limp this service until the fiber-optic gets into our neighborhood in the fall or winter. I couldn't justify what we were paying for our old service which caused us to switch. In talking to everyone across town that has our new fiber optic service, Flo is now absolutely perfect---no issues!! Nothing wrong with Flo---it just takes a lot to run, and you'll have to sort it out.

Flo is really sucking for me too. I'm tired of emailing them. I've had pretty bad buffering for a few months now whether i'm using the app on my phone or their website on my laptop. They keep asking the same redundant questions and I keep showing them screen shots of my internet speed which is very good, and I keep telling them all of my equipment is less than two years old. When Flo knows they're really sucking they go to youtube and their live stream works and they can't or won't explain that to me. I can stream anything else with my equipment without issue and yet Flo won't admit to their customers they are having technical issues. I've had flo since 2017 and even in their earlier days with outdated equipments I had better service. They are probably making some nice profits but are not putting anything back into their product, probably takes a lot of money to prop up and afford your own racing series.

Ditto to this 100%.
prior to September last year we did not have cable in our area and relied on a satellite service for internet not a lot of fun flo Would struggle the most.
last September we had cable run all over our area....the man installing said we are getting the latest and greatest fiber optics and late to the party in this case was worth the wait he said. I talked to someone at the cable provider said we stream a lot she said the 150 whatever the letters are would be more than enough I said I'll go withthe 300 whatever the letters are as we may stream 3-4 things at a time.
unless there is a problem at the actual provider - we have had zero problems since.....last night I'm watching the outlaws on dv and usac from Bloomington of flo and I could flip back and forth on dv from I55 to Knoxville.
I would completely retype egras last paragraph word for word as it is my sentiments and experience to a "T"

Yes it does and they give plenty of guesses on how to fix it and it doesn't change. Horse Crap support

I had issues with buffering on my old computer and found that it went away when I received a new laptop for Christmas this past December. We also do not have a bunch of other devices in our home that competes for modium power or flow of electrons or what ever else goes on with what modern technology requires. When I was a high school teacher and I could not get my computer/smart board/electronic notebook to do what I wanted or needed it to do I would get a kid to help me. I think the solution to all tech problems is to have a 13 year old kid sit next to you, tell them what you want, and whamo, it is fixed. The kids always wanted to know what I was doing when I use my slide rule and I told them it was a calculator that did not need batteries. Technology is only as good as the person using it.

You can blame all the lameness on Lucas Oil taking over and now starting to distroy another great site.It never use to be this bad. I also have 2 laptops and can watch FLO and Dirtvision at same time. Dirtvision never has issue's while Flo freezes up on commercials and by the way Flo never use to have commercials thank you Lucas Oil crap. Notice how MAVtv is off air. Because Lucas Oil killed it. I have been with Flo since day 1 and don't plan on stopping. Same with Dirtvision . Only because I love racing.

The commercials don't bug me at all. There can only be so much running around the pits looking for interviews before it starts to look like they're imitating that idiot Michael Waltrip. If there's a break in the action, which as we know is very common all night at a dirt track, put on a commercial that helps pay the bills. I have zero issues with that. I want these streaming services to do more than break even----I want them to make a ton of money so they continue bringing us content!

This is like calling your local ABC station and complaining about the channel being blurry. It all comes down to your internet provider, the equipment you use, and your setup. To achieve the best results, avoid using Wi-Fi if possible. A hardwired connection using cat 5 (or 6) would be best. If you are using a PC or laptop, don't use an old junky machine. Most machines now have SSDs; if you don't, you need one, or better yet, get a new PC/laptop with an SSD drive. I have a Roku and I reboot it weekly just to make sure it's running at its best. I have seen Roku and other streaming adapters start to get sluggish if they haven't been rebooted often. If you are using Wifi make sure you have a strong signal. If your signal is weak, even if you have a fast internet connection, the connection is going to suffer. Remember, these companies are not Netflix; they are not going to be perfect. If you expect perfection, they are not there yet.

Yep. Same for me, cuts out at the damndest times. Dropped them 2 years ago, and I see they still have the same problem. I hope someone from Flo is reading this thread and posts.

Yes. I went from a cable service to a satellite service because it was 1/2 the cost. Had ZERO issues before switching to the satellite provider. We made a few changes within my home this week and our internet provider switched us to a different tower. Last night's Flo broadcast went off without a hitch for the first time since I switched to satellite. I cannot wait to get the fiber optics as my buddies have told me it is flawless with Flo. I hope this bandaid works long enough so I can limp through the summer until the fiber optics is available! (I can literally see houses that have it but it isn't on this side of the tracks yet!)
So anyone that wants to keep blaming Flo, let me repeat----broadcasts I couldn't watch 2 weeks ago without it cutting out every 30 seconds, were going off flawlessly 1/2 mile away from me with a different internet provider. IT'S YOUR INTERNET! And once again, don't let them tell you it's fine---it's not! You may need to hardwire vs. wifi. And yes, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. may work just fine while Flo or DV struggle. That doesn't mean it's Flo or DV. It means the services that don't take as much to run are getting what they need, while Flo and DV may not be.

Our stuff is so new flo and DIRTVision are loaded in the cable box or router I'm not really techno savvy. The man setting it up said their equipment is constantly updating unlike smart tvs, fire sticks and what not.
prior to getting cable fiber optics DIRTVision worked much better than flo it was always buffering

I am in New Zealand and I find Flo works much better than Dirt V as it is always buffering.

We have fiber and it is very good, although, as you, and a few others have noted, if you are watching through a Roku box, if it isn't fairly new, you will still have glitches. I can tell by starting out watching upstairs on an older roku box, and then going into the Mancave and watching on a very much newer Roku box. It starts with the internet, must be great or even a new Roku box will not work glitch free. Enjoy K-ville, wish I was there with you boys
