More and more non WoO 410 guys are doing the 360 Nats to prep for the nationals.

So who have your heard that is coming to IronMan?  Some Penn guys?

I just looked at the 2024 Ironman results and from what I can tell, only 2 cars on that list that are going to be running the 360 Nationals instead of returning to the 2025 edition.  Kyle and McFadden.  I didn't include Day, because unless I missed it, he is not signed in for the 360 Nats.  Also, I didn't count Gio, because the car is still going to be at I-55 with a different driver, and he will be running the car that won the 2024 360 Nats.

Is there someone else I'm missing that doesn't usually run the 360 Nats anyways?  Shouldn't be much of a change.  41 cars last year.  I would guess between 32 and 42 cars this year?

I looked at the POWRi standings and I think we can expect most of these at the Ironman:  Ayrton Gennetten, Joe B Miller, Noah Gass, Gage Montgomery, Rees Moran, Scotty Milan.

Other possiblities: Lane Warner, Sterling Cling, Will Armatage, Korbin Keith.

Noah Gass is out for the forseeable future with a medical issue that he has had for a long time. It just flared up last week.

I hope the Pevely track is better for tomorrow's race. Tonight's show was about as exciting as watching NASCAR race. Don't know if I've ever seen a race therethat's just everyone around the bottom zzzzz. It happens sometimes. Hopefully tomorrow night gives them a race track to put on a better show.

After last night, there's no doubt that if they are going to get the prestige of the IronMan back they've got to get a new date.  Outside the WoO points guys, there just wasn't a lot there.  And yes the track wasn't great, at all

Maybe the date isn't as significant as the "event". This appears to be two separate WoO shows, with the 2nd day winner's payout being a little better. if it were a 2 day show with a bigger purse, maybe it would attract more of the high profile 410 teams that have migrated to the Knoxville 360 Nationals?

The original concept of the Outlaws was to bring their brand of racing to all markets.  The 360 Nationals is hundreds of miles from the Ironman and is not a 410 race.  There are so many options available nowadays and fans shouldn't expect every weekend to be a Nationals type event where the rest of the Sprint Car world shuts down for a week.  There are more cars and more competing events than eve and they're all good races if they're local to one's location.
