So we were talking in the stands last weekend during a caution (actually right after the McCarl & Garner deal) about the placement of the Jumbo Tron being right there in plain view of the drivers when coming down the back stretch. I wonder how much time the drivers actually have to look up and see how close the car is behind them how much of an advantage it is for them to block the driver that has got a run going right behind them? Should this screen be placed more so along the backstretch to where the racers cannot use it to their advantage? I know in an interview at the Nationals a short few years ago, I believe it was Wade Unger asking Larson if he ever used it and he said he did!! I never really payed attention to much at other tracks, I was thinking Eldoras is in the apex of turn 2 so there would not really be an advantage there.

Larson said he used it at the High Bank Nationals the night he won. The next night they had advertising for the whole A main.. He finished 3rd
The next two nights when Larson wasnt there, it was back on

So that implies that they thought he was the only one capable of using it . . .

At least they don't have it in the infield where it partially blocks the fans view of the backstretch like Lincoln.
