Good grief never knew gravel was such a baby. I sure didn't see anything dirty by larson, just hard racing. They both were throwing sliders and clearing, what is the problem with that.

I'm sure with the adrenaline pumping it seemed like a good idea, but to spin a guy after the checked you know damn well ain't gonna fight back is a little weak.  If I'm being honest, though, I've done some stupid shit with my adrenaline pumping. Hell, I do some stupid shit just walking around on a normal day :-)

Good for Gravel. Larson is an overly aggressive driver who routinely runs over people and all the fanboys ignore it.

Let's hear it from the forum.  Which driver will throw a slider and force the other driver (any driver) to either back out of the throttle or be involved with contact?  Larson or Gravel?

I would say I'm a Larson fan for the most part as he is exciting to watch but I can agree that he races about as agressive as anyone I know. Idk if his mentality is everyone will just brake for me because they know I won't lift but I don't mind someone sticking up for themselves. I think it does make some drivers think twice before throwing a slider they know won't clear without the other individual slamming the brakes. That's what makes racing great though is the unpredictability and watching some guys calculate the moves needed at speed! I'd rather see gravel have a firm conversation but maybe he felt this was the only way to get his attention?

Watching on dirtvision it looked like good hard racing and nothing dirty. I was surprised when they got into after the checkered.

As long as he doesn't do it at speed, turning someone around on the cool down lap is not a big deal. I think there has been a lot going on behind the scenes with the 2 team and High Limit, and it all boiled over this week with the DQ and the hard racing.

Fundamentally we all know Larson is a better sprint car driver than anyone else, which makes his borderline dirty driving all the more indefensible. I think the frustration with that is boiling over and I also think Larson is frustrated with the crew cheif comments and that's causing him to race Gravel even harder.

As long as I'm on the opposite side of your argument I feel pretty good.

If you folks are on X aka Twitter, check out Larson's post. A+ for good trolling.  Pretty funny.

Agreed! He's making some pretty sketchy moves out there, forcing others to lift or be hit.

Honestly agree with Gravel here but the post checkered shit has no place. Go throw a punch if you're that mad.

Larson threw at least two pretty awful sliders at him tonight, one coming to the flag. Someone will sooner or later have enough and not lift, maybe Gravel at this point.

There are plenty of other guys who are just really damn aggressive - some were named here, but my opinion is that Gravel tends to stay on the cleaner side when compared to the other elite drivers.

Saturday night sure will be interesting.

What's the crew chief comments?

Both the best in their respective series. David did some NASCAR also. Something to help the rivalry but not a big deal. Acting like a baby not a good look for Tods team and Cody is a good crew cheif but  not to classy sometimes. Using car for retaliation never good.

Aggressive driving allows you to move up to the big time.  Flying to events in a private jet, parking your motorcoach in a paved area, and huge dollars.  Crying about being beaten gets you, driving overnight to an event, parking your motorcoach (if you have one) in a dirt field, and scrambling to make a living.  If I remember correctly, Gravel attempted door slammers but did not succeed.

The two are not the same. Larson is a champion in the highest level of American motorsports. Gravel is a champion because the guy he couldn't beat even for even one title in five years left to form his own series.

Isn't that pretty much how a slide job works?

Both guys are like prolly under 150 pounds so its not like no ones bullying anyone. Lets throw them in the woo trailer hold the doors shut for 15 minutes and let them work it out.
