So is it too early to start talking about Knoxvilles 2024 season? Rookie drivers in the 3 classes, Driver changes? Sponsor changes?
I saw some Pics last week of Brownies car with Andys Custard on the Wing(s) Is he no longer with Caseys? I am so ready to hear some race cars....

He had Casey's and FVP on the car this past weekend with the WoO. He had Andy's Custard as a sponsor last year too.

As for 2024 predictions
410: Chase randall, Loads of talent in really good equipment
360: Jamie Ball, I think he finally gets that monkey off his back and gets the job done
Pro: Rob Kubli, His experience and his return to sprint cars helps gets the job done in what will be a tough Pro sprint class

I'm looking forward to this season. This will be our first year testing the waters with a seasonal campsite. I look forward to making more than just the big shows. Not sure how many I will make it to with a 3-1/2 hour drive, but hope to hit a few!

Luv Knoxville. I'll gladly ride past a dozen tracks & make the 562 mile ride from sw Ohio. I'll watch the weather for the opener & pick between Knoxville or WoO at Haubstadt. Certainly hoping for good weather the following weekend.

I see Carson McCarl on the Drivers Roster in the 12X Beaver Bit car. Trying to recall but I thought he spent a lot of 2023 racing up in Minnesota or up North somewhere. Hopefully he is returning to Knoxville.
Last driver I saw in the 12X was Garet Williamson at the season finale. On the Roster he's listed as being in a #23 Fischer Motorsports car with D.Moore Jr. turning wrenches. Hoping this is a good car / combo as I like Williamson. Was really disappointed to see him lose his ride 3 days before the Nationals last year!!

Knoxville's going to be pretty solid again with Brown leading the pack in the 410 class.
- It'll be interesting to see how often Austin McCarl runs weekly
- Scott bogucki runs hard and hoping he races more often at Knoxville
- McHugh is good, really good
- Henderson should be solid in the 5 car
- Hoping Hickle also runs weekly
- Kerry Madsen will be good in the 55
- It's good to see Carson in a good ride and the car running weekly at Knoxville again
- Also cool to see Brian Paulus running at Knoxville
- I think Reutzel will compete for wins but not the championship
- We have some really good young drivers running weekly; Randall, Williamson, more
- Always a fan of Lynton Jeffrey. He's one of the best in the slick

McHugh is not going to come to the USA as previously planned it appears.

Both should have close to 30 with 410s a hair more, with the pro series around 15.

The Pro Series hasnt grown much. They would be more suited for smaller track but seem to fill that slot much better than stock cars of any kind. The purse is as good as any weekly show and there are several drivers that can do well at WOO or HL. Weekly invert makes a difference as there are several that if they get the clean air advantage they seem to stay upfront.

Wondering how Brian Paulus will do in the VanderEcken #10 car. He's had some good results at Knoxville.

Not a fan of 3 identical classes every week. Why not throw in non-wing or modifieds once in a while? Or at the very least, run a 16sq. Ft. Wing on the pro sprints. And change up the track prep so it's not the exact same all the time.

I like none of these ideas at all.
1. No one----not even the family members of modified drivers----want to see modifieds.
2. Not sure where all of the non-wings would come from to run on a semi-regular basis? Wisconsin has a large number of them, but I believe they are running every weekend.
3. I have never been to track in my life where the track prep was "the exact same all the time." Never. The prep should aim for the same result every night-----a track that has enough moisture to keep from becoming a dust bowl, will widen out to multiple lanes by feature time, and will either not take rubber, or will at the very least hold off on taking rubber until the late stages of the final feature. The prep, in order to hit these standards, will have to be different each and every week.
Sorry, I'm not on board with this idea. Not that your opinion isn't valid.

He had a ride. He opted out of it. He is not coming.

Darin Naida will be running the Dennis Gainey #6 for the 360 championship and running half the 410 events when Brandon Wimmer is not in town. He is only 17 and continuing to gain experience starting his 3rd year in 410's primarly in Ohio. Should be interesting to see how he does at Knoxville.
