Do you like the WoO and High Limit events without other classes running?

What are the support races you prefer if there are some?

If it's a support class, I want it to be a 360 winged, a midget, or something topless. 

I understand why they're running late mods along with sprint cars in these new areas, if we're considering late models a support class. 

Keep It Real

Midgets or non wing sprints.   No late models, stocks, or modifieds.   

I can deal with just about anything but an E-mod. 

Something that will widen the track and not take too long. Any division that is unprofessional in that they crash all the time doesn't belong on a card with a top series. But if the field is smaller than 40 cars you need a support division for track prep above all else.

Agree 100%.  Them things are so boring to watch.

For races with 4 or more heats, there should only be one support class, limited to two heat races only, preferably open wheel cars.  

For races with 3 or less heats, there should still only be one support class, limited to 3 or 4 heats.

Under no circumstance, should there be more than one support class.

No Legends especially when there's over 40 of them. It's like track lice.

In a perfect world they would know how many 410 cars to count on but they do not. So we need to have realistic suggestions.

An open wheels support class makes sense to me. I suppose the race locations would influence what support class would be available locally?  On the east side of Wisconsin there is a semi local 360 Sprint Car group, Midgets and Wingless Sprints not so far away.

I honestly am starting to think there is an inherent design flaw in the American dirt track Econo-Modified.

They swap ends way too easily. Or maybe the drivers are just terrible and it's too much for them to handle.

Midgets, micro-sprints and dwarf cars are my favorite supporting classes as long as they are run quickly. At my local track all the classes are run in a very efficient way, so they are actually enjoyable. 

Skinny tires 

I don't care much for some support divisions. But if they have less than twenty cars, don't dig into the track, have two quick heats, and one short feature I'm okay with about anything. I'm also in favor of setting time limits for support division races. Support divisions can be beneficial when used properly.

I'm not a fan of Econo-mod / Sportmod / E-mod / B-mod / Etc. limited modifieds. I'm proud to be a sprint car zombie.

However, I do know some guys that are fender racers and gear heads. One of them explained it well to me. He said that the late model and modified racers have developed their cars so that the suspension made the cars twist and stand up sort of funky so that they got more bite in the corners. With sophisticated equipment and seasoned drivers, it made the cars faster. The same thing has kind of trickled down to the B-mods. The problem is, limiting rules, lower budgets, and entry level drivers means the cars are too much for most racers to handle without spinning out. And spinning out and spinning out. I saw a B-mod race where two very good drivers got their cars to perform the way they wanted them to. They battled each other for 20 or 30 laps. Unfortuneately, it was a 15 lap race and all their racing was done in 2 lap increments between spins. .

Legends are the worst, by far.....

I'm curious. You say you don't like Legends, but kinda like micro-sprints? Aren't they about the same thing- a mini racecar with a motorcycle engine? We don't have Legends cars on the northern plains, so I've never seen them race. On TV they look kinda boring, for the same reason as micro-sprints. At the end of the first lap of a micro-sprint race, they should wave the checkers. 95% of the time the field is stretched out into it's finishing order by then. The rest of the race is just watching buzzing hornets do hotlaps. 

The Legends can have some good races on an oval. They race a lot at Beaver Dam Raceway in Wisconsin.  The events on road courses do look long and boring.

In Plymouth Wisconsin they have an end of season event September 28th Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships. It is for the IRA 410, MSA 360, Wingless Sprints and Lightning Sprints. It has been a pretty good event the past couple years. Some great racing.

Micros are open wheel....they can be pretty exciting

I agree totally with revjimk! Micros are OK, but do not like the legends.
