Since Eldora is rained out, anyone know where the WOO sprints and All Stars may be racing this weekend?

Looks like PA may get rained out this weekend too. Attica canceled for tomorrow. Just poking around on www.weather.gov, Knoxville was the only 410 track I could find where Saturday's forecast looks decent. I saw on Twitter KCP/Gio Scelzi are racing Knoxville and Husets on Sunday. Wouldn't be suprised to see Courtney and a few other All Stars and Outlaws running that same plan.

Insomuch as the weather is precipitous over the Eastern half of the country, and the ASCoC (for your information & those of you in Rio Linda, that an acronym for All Star Circuit of Champions) is not scheduled to race (that means an "off" weekend) it would seem to me that the drivers will probably be forming a caravan and heading to Kansas for a short visit with Dorothy (sadly, Toto passed away awhile back...poor little guy had worms) and them the WoO will be trucking it to PA for next week's events at Lincoln & WG (that short for Williams Grove Speedway) and the ASCoC up to Michigan & Ohio. Please don't ever think about actually reading the home page of HH (short for Hoseheads) where all things pertinent to sprint cars are blatantly & repeatedly published, like the upcoming schedules on the right panel near the top of the page...just c'mon over here and ask stupid questions. You'll fit right in.

You were looking for "Where are WOO and All Stars racing this weekend" as per the question you posted (refer to your title of this thread). Once again, the WoO are rained out and the ASCoC are off. There is some talk that some of the teams from both series might head over to Knoxville on Saturday, but they would be "on their own" as far as the WoO & ASCoC are concerned. I hope this helps you out, and please don't be mean to me as you could hurt my feelings and then what would you do knowing that you were responsible for my crestfallen state.

6.5 billion people could read the original post and understand he was refering to the teams associated with each sanction, not the sanctions. I'm glad we have one of the few who couldnt with us tonight.
Go ahead, attack me if it brings you pleasure.
Even though I may not know you, I

If you read the post you would have known that Eldora being rained out was old news. Your sentence about Knoxville would have been all you needed to post. But you had to climb on your porcelan throne and act like you belonged on one. You ruin a perfectly good forum with your line of crap.

They arent coming to Pa unless they want to sit in a bar room and drink since we are getting monsooned with 2 plus inches of rain which we surely dont need so knoxville or husets where you have to unload your rig for a regular show which is a royal pain in the a## so knoxville is my educated guess!

You're a little behind the times. Husets rebuilt the pits outside the back stretch about 5 years ago, so no unloading.

Aw, you're so cute when you're mad! But now that we've clarified your post, in that neither the WoO or ASCoC are running, maybe some of the teams will decide to make the tow to Knoxville...but I personally doubt it as it's a 535 mile tow from Eldora to Knoxville (assuming they were in the general vicinity when the announcement was made Wednesday about Let's Race 2 being canceled) which adds over 1,000 miles to Lincoln, for a $5,000 potential win. I dunno, guess we'll see on Saturday.

Sycamore Speedway in Illinois is still on for the IRA Sprints and Badger Midgets Saturday. (as of now)
1st time in 35 years. BRING IT!
I tell it like I see it.

amazing how people will complain about tracks handling weather. i thought the grove handled it well. waited until today to make sure there wasn't a total swing/miss by the weather people...and made an early call to cancel. still people on facebook asking why they called so early and why there wasn't a text message.
one of the biggest challenges racing has is which fan feedback to listen to. most is garbage. nascar spends too much time listening. sprint car racing seems to listen just enough which might be another reason why their popularity has grown.

The Grove is everyone's whipping boy because of the way they've handled situations in the past, but clearly with the forecast they made the right call.
The WoO/Eldora thing is a bit puzzling from a timing perspective but it does seem like the WoO with the tires/fuel situation is trying cancel earlier and not having teams tow out to the track just to cancel. Also the Eldora new clay didn't get a chance to work itself in and the LM deal on Flo a few weeks back was not good. So that was probably another factor to them just ditching the weekend.

And it's been raining for days there; even now as I just checked Weather.com and it's still raining and predicted to rain all day today (Friday) and into Saturday with highs in the upper 50s & lows 45 tonight & 39 Saturday. Looks to me like a big (cold) swamp there with no chance of racing, new track surface notwithstanding

Just out of curiosity, what is Knoxville's normal 410 car count on a Saturday night with no outsiders coming in?
