When Steve Kinser's name is mentioned, exactly WHICH car does your mind take you to? I want to do a painting and want to do the most popular. Pictures are a bonus. Thanks

That's a good question. For me it is the all green Quaker State car of about 1995 (?). I'll be interested to see what others favor.

The green Quaker State 11 comes to mind for me. When I got into sprint car racing, that was the car he drove and it didn't change much until he went to TSR.

While I saw him as a kid in all kinds of different paint schemes, I saw him by far the most in the Quaker State car. So that's one springs to mind when I think of Steve Kinser.

This is america you dumb hoser, you can vote two or three times and you don't even have to exist. keep that a secret though.
I always think of The King in Karl's white 11 but I still have a quaker state shirt.. was never a fan of his until 1990.

I agree..one night at Lernerville back in the 80's set the hook and I didn't miss an Outlaw race there for over 20 years..even built the model which is still here somewhere.

Old school. When he and karl first started. The Stanton white #11, no high back wrap around seats. No panels surrounding the cockpit. You could see the driver working the beast between his legs.

That is interesting as I am going to do a retro Sammy as well and my first thought was Channellock, butTMC was second choice. Thanks

The first time I saw him race it was a white car with red numbers. The last time it was the Bass Pro Shops scheme on his retirement tour. Probably the one I saw most was the green car. No preferences as long as they at least have a duct tape number at the minimum. It ain't the paint and wraps that I come to see.
