Rumor on Twitter out of Gateway is Chris Windom will be moving to winged 410's full time next year. Hoping he joins the All-Stars. Does anyone know who he'll be driving for?

IOW also says Kevin Thomas Jr. is going to the wings. As a wingless fan, it sucks. These guys are among the best. USAC needs to increase its purses, significantly!

If true, it wouldn't surprise me if he stays with his current team. They made a few winged starts together during 2021. I have no inside info, just adding 2 and 2 together to equal 5.

KTJ and Windom both moving will be interesting, especially if they decide to run in a series like the ASCOC. USAC definitely needs to start paying more or the exodus will continue.

I'd love to see Wimmer racing at Knoxville weekly, or anyone for that matter. People are critcal if someone tries to race on the tours, however at the local level, why do we need to know know if they're a championship caliber team?
Do you know who just won the Championship at Knoxville....

The 2021 weekly Knoxville field was the weakest in memory, but maybe that's a good thing. If more teams think they have a shot, maybe the car counts will shoot up a bit.

I guess it really isn't important. Just fun to talk about sprint cars and who will be where next year kind of like people do for every other sport. Sorry we made you read all this non sense.

Here in central pa, Matt Campbell will not be in the Premier Motorsports 21 next year. Hope team is back in '22 with a new driver. Maybe The Edge is coming out of retirement!!

The Edge would be great but I really don't expect it.

I would agree that the Big names maybe haven't been there throughout the season but the top ten in points is still a pretty stout field. I've said this before but we're really spoiled at Knoxville with all the drivers that drop in periodically throughout the year and run a handful of races in preparting for the Nationals.
IDK what it would take to get more drivers to race for points. If you raise the A feature, then you might have more drivers consider dropping in more frequent however, throughout the season you'd want to see higher payouts through the field. This past season paid at least $4k to the winner with many being $5k.
Sorry to get off topic... Happy to see quality drivers like Windom, KTJ, try their hand in more winged racing. What is the KCP team doing?

The KTJ question just got answered:

That's a strong addition for the ASCOC, especially if Courtney moves up to WoO.

i was going to ask what happened to the edge. one minute he was the hero at lincoln...the next it was like he never existed. kind of sad how fast people jumped off his bandwagon...but then again it doesn't surprise me how quickly people wash their hands of drivers.
like i hope matt campbell isn't being replaced for performance concerns. guys need a chance to settle in. it's amazing how cut throat things seem to be with these rides.

Get a grip dude. Things were changing within the 21 team, starting at the top. Montieth wanted to spend time with his family and concentrate on his business and who can blame him? Nobody jumped off his bandwagon, Brian retired, can you comprehend that, nobody washed their hands of him. Why don't you send Parrish some moolah to keep Matt in there to settle in.
I can't believe that racing could be a cut throat business, who would ever think of such a thing, how dare they.
That last part was sarcasm in case you didn't get it

i hadn't heard about why he left...so i appreciate the information. it's a shame you had to be a dick about it (not sarcasm). but that's also par for the course with a good number of central pa sprint car fans.

What drivers are rumored to drive where? Rumor has it there will be at least two drivers competing for the World of Outlaws ROY in Tyler Courtney and Gio Scelzi.

Sounds like the TSR 14 car will cease to exist with the drag race teams moving in
