Has anybody gotten their newest issue of Sprint car & Midget yet? I usually get mine by the end of the month..... wondering whats happened after the loss of Doug Auld

You can thank the head of the post office that Donald Trump dug up. The hard part is getting rid of him. He is also under FBI investigation on other matters.

You need to bring up all the things rhis guy has done to SLOW down postal delivery. This guy donated large amounts of money to Trump campaign, so he got the job. He then hired several companies that he had a large interest in to do work for post office. FBI is looking in to that. True post office has lost money for years but they still delivered postage on time. One of his latest plans is a huge increase in postage at christmas time and to stop drlivering mail to Australia because it cost so much. I do not know if he will get it done. Look it up.

Sorry to disturb your political discussion but I haven't received a new issue yet either. Not sure how things will go with Doug's passing, I believe he was a main factor in keeping that magazine rolling. It might be all over for SC&M, I miss Argabright and his monthly Jimmy Wilson saga, now Auld is gone, he was the editor. Not quite like Chris Economaki and NSSN but it is a sad loss and maybe another fine print going by the wayside.

I do get speedway illustrated but I only get that because when dirt racing magazine suddenly ceased operations after the sudden death of a key contributor but that was only many months after they ceased operations that I was notified that I would be recieving speedway illustrated in place of dirt illustrated but its not the same.

When Open Wheel magazine went away I remember getting something like Stock Car Illustrated or something like that for a while. I subscribed to Flat Out until SC&M came out, now with the interweb I'm done with magazines and papers, too much solid info on these forums.

Yea, I was asking about the magazine, not trying to start a political discussion!
Doug not only did the editing & a lot of the writing, but often answered the phone when I had problems with delivery. I wonder how they'll survive without him too...
But I called & they said issues were on the way......

Received mine yesterday Nov. 17th to northern California. My best guess it was two weeks late.
