After an excellent nights sleep and waking up feelin fresh as a Daisy this morning.

I have come to the conclusion Mr. Track Announcer that it is best we DO NOT meet on Sat.

Me and the Witnesses just want to sit there quietly and be good race fans , listen to the track scanner and also the AM Radio and see if we can pick up the OU Game too.

Would not want you to bring Mr. Rawdon up there and have us thrown out , Ya said he was already pissed , Hell he might not let us in the place.

Man I guess your right Mr. Track Announcer You just must have not been there announcing that night , So there is NO REASON to meet up , So let's just move on.

oklahomarace16 Welcome to the witness program and I appreciate the support.

To end this thread by me on a hight note for Bobcat , good things about Cowtown:

There are 2 Chicken Expresses and a Hooter's on the way down to the place.

Always wanted to stop at KT's Videos in Sanger but were either runnin behind gettin there or it is to late to stop coming back , But I hear the movies are A-1 , LOL.

Ice Tea at Cowtown is the best and very tasty(Nothin like drinkin a tasty cup of Ice Tea while watchin the sprinters haul it around Cowtown)

Cleanest Bathrooms of about any track around.

Older Gentleman who greets you up front and takes your ticket stub , says "Welcome to Cowtown" Makes ya feel like hey were just dam glad your here.

Plus some of the best flat out sprint car racing on the high banked 1/4 mile.

In Apr. 06 Carl Edwards gettin his elbows up and qualifying out of the B to make the ASCS A main, ( that was some good stuff that night)

Travis Rilat crashin in his heat and takin a provisional and coming from the back to win the A main.

There's your posititives.

I think we stop at the KT video about 1 of every 3 times we go down to Texas for races. It is what it is - but I get annoyed because there is no particular order to any of it. And I got my favorite chicas and don't feel like spending an hour+ lookin for em when I'm already starin down the prospect of gettin back to El Reno around 3 or later. To me just better to go the free route on Bearshare or LimeWire. As I noticed in the spring - right there when you get off the interstate on to Mansfield Road there are some sex shacks. I'll stop there......I'm a big fan of dirt on multiple fronts. lol

I too like Cowtown.............although the elvis impersonations were among the most ignorant things I've ever seen at a race track. but other than that - I like everything about that track.

Last time I am going to say this. I was not the announcer for this event. I may have been interviewed or even announced a race. Randy Miller and Chris Wright were the announcers of this event you folks ask about.

I also am a Yankee. ( I hope this is not a bad thing. ) I am from Michigan. Calling one a Yankee is a everyday thing here in the south it seems. I get it constantly. To the point that I even have fun with it when I am called this. For me, I could be called something much worse before it would bother me. I do not remember any reference of me saying something about Yankee's at this event. If I offended someone, I guess I offended myself as well since I am a Yankee.

I still do not understand why I have been attacked on this thread. I do not do Elvis. I DID NOT give the transfer information either. I would not have had a clue since I was not the hired announcer for the event. It looks to me that I was guilty of having a mic in my hand along with the two other announcers however at the time someone happen to come to the announcers booth.

In closing, do not be confused that I do not make mistakes. Because I do and trust me. I have made some real doosey's....Lol! I may even make some mistakes tonight ( Friday ) while I work with a crew that I do not have much time working with. But I will promise you this. I will do everything I can to do the best job possible. I came to this site to do research and be ready for my work. Not to get into a argument with folks.

Have a great time and hope to meet you all.
