This might be my favorite thread of the year.  Counting the entries as they come in and are posted.  Bench racing about which night will be "tougher".  Thinking of the elbows up driving in the heat races.  Less that 2 weeks away!

I can smell the pork tenderloin now!!!

How many hosers go to all 10 nights?  I'll be at the inflated All Star show Saturday then let heaven on earth begin on Thursday!

I’m going 9 consecutive nights but the first 2 will be at Pevely. Then it’s the traditional (for me at least) pilgrimage to Iowa for my favorite week of the yea.

I've only been to Saturday nite 360 Finale & all of 410 championship, with Osky thrown in of course...

Next time, I wanna see Pevely for Iron Man & POWRi midgets.... They're excellent!

Has Tony Stewart ever entered the Nationals as a driver?

Does any other race track schedule 410s during this event or do all tracks back off and let their regulars go without giving up anything at home?

Even though I may not know you, I

I wish all tracks went dark for the Nationals. But that will never happen. Anyway Rodin, I'm gonna be in the Toronto area and will be visiting Canada's Wonderland.  I love rollercoasters and I'm stoked to try out Leviathan. Have you ever been? This is my first trip to Canada and I'm pumped.  Anything else you recommend doing up there?

Not personally. Wife and kids went and loved the park. Ask to go back from time to time. Not sure if they road Leviathon!  Ive been to Ontario twice. Niagra Falls is a must. Also enjoyed the paddle boat ride on Lake Simco by Barrie. But that eas 10 yrs ago.

Yeah I've heard good things about that park and that coaster. Can't wait to get up there.

If you go to Niagara Falls, DEFINITELY take the Maid of the Mists boat ride! Positively euphoric. You look up at Falls & see rainbows everywhere. I was getting irritated by big group of Russian tourists (nothing against them, but NOT a pleasant language to listen to), but when we got to the Falls & i looked up, I was howling with laughter & overjoyed.....

Add Harli White to the 410 entry list. She has a 410 engine coming

I counted roughly 44 cars on the 410 entry list that were not at Knoxville last night. There were 56 410s that raced last night. You can subtract some of the All Star regulars who will not run the Nationals and realistically add the same amount who will enter and there is the 100 entries with a plus or minus 5 either way...

47 cars now locked in for Wednesday.  49 for Thursday.

Is this heaven?
No, it's Iowa....Knoxville, Iowa.

Anybody thinking of buying all 8 Nights at Knoxville can do so via TheCushion and save $1 or buy the packages separately for $1 more.  The 3 Day 360's and then the 5 Night Nationals with the Cappy included.  A bit frustrating and certainly no reason to advance buy but it is what it is.  I will be buying them separately in case the Cappy rains out since it won't likely be rescheduled.....

HA HA HA........The savings is actually $11.00 if you wait to buy the 4-day package. But if the Capatani Classic is no longer available in a package come Sunday, it's $24.00. Be careful how you save a dollar! wink

This is different.  They are already separating entries by qualifying nights.  In previous years we didn't see which night the teams were assigned to until maybe a week out from the first night of the Nationals.

And Schatz isn't entered yet (as of 7-17-18 at 1:30pm) so there is hope for a new winner!!!!

Looks to me like a pretty good field on Wednesday and Thursday.  48 cars on Wednesday and 49 cars on Thursday, with 97 as a total, looks like there will be a hundred plus . . .
