Won the ASCoC race at WCS and then won at Atomic and Legendary Hilltop this past weekend. The car he is in is low budget as well. Safe to say I wouldn't be surprised to see him in top knotch rides for the big shows this summer.

Yes, I hope Jac gets a premier ride for some big shows this summer....Or maybe a big sponsor to boost what he is doing now.....

Jac still has what it takes.

Patty posted on Twitter that he won Saturday and Sunday on the same RR tire.  Unheard of these days.  Really cool to see Jac having a great start to the year.  Maybe the Indy Race Parts car is still an option for him for some bigger shows.

The Indy Race Parts car is putting Jamie Veal behind the wheel for his US tour this summer. Maybe when Jamie heads home and there are still a few big shows left.

For high entertainment purposes, I hope the Wild Child never retires!!  He's always worth the price of admission!  Long live on the high side (aka the Haudenschild groove)!!

You would hope one of these car owners would put him in a car for Eldora shows.

From a fan entertainment standpoint "exciting" sometimes doesn't even cover it.  It's called the Haud line for a reason.

From a car owner standpoint, maybe trepidation, nervousness, etc.  Jac's rep is one of a "wreckers or checkers" as he has been notoriously hard on equipment throughout the years.  That's not news to anyone.  This no doubt comes into play when car owners of mid to big budget teams seek a driver, especially with the cost of equipment nowadays vs potential payout.  The finances have to make sense and while Jac is a HOF driver sometimes owners are a little nervous of putting him behind the wheel for more than a special show here or there.  Not a knock as I love watching Jac inches from the fence.  He also does not bring "sponsors" with him.  Again, not a knock, but sometimes that helps.

I agree but a car owner should put him in a car at Eldora. He can run that place blind folded

Agreed.  As I said for a one-off special event type show (like the King's Royal) or a pick and choose race at Eldora it's probably worth the gamble.  To run for a whole season of any type of schedule or sactioning group's a different story.

Jac is definitely not built to run for points. Let him pick and choose his tracks and rim ride to some wins.

Jac will definitely be at the big money events this year, and the Indy Race Parts 71 will be part of it, along with Jamie Miller, and maybe another ride or two that we don't know about..  The combo of Jac, and Bonzie, when Sheldons schedule permits can be the most potent in all of racing.  Just look back to the "front row challenge" that Jac won ( the only driver to ever do it too ).  Jac will one day retire, sad as that is to all of us Haud fans, however not before thrilling us each time he climbs in behind the wheel of a fire breathing sprint car. The shining star will be Sheldon for all Haud fans as he clearly has that special talent that allows him to run the famous "Haud grove" around places like Eldora.  Like father, like son.  If you get a chance to go see this Legend run, especially at Eldora, as I'm so fortunate to have had the pleasure of doing a few years back, do it.  You won't be disappointed.  And go visit him in the pits.  He is without doubt, one of the nices guys you will ever meet.  Hell, when you get a roaring standing ovation at Eldora, louder than the Kings ovation was, in the year Steve Kinser was officially retiring from full time WoO racing ( no disrespect to the King intended, just my observation ), you don't get that because people dislike you...

No matter how hard you try.........you can't polish a

You're right about Jac and his friendliness with the fans.....second to none. Each year we hope Jac will find his way back to the Clay County Fair WoO event. He won here more than a few years with the WoO, now, and what a thrilling win it was. He worked his way up to running a hard third up high where nobody else dared run.....sliding over the edge the no wall backstretch more than once until he nailed it exactly right and went from 3rd to 1st and a crowd roaring win.....Jac Haudenschild stlye!

Jac is always worth the price of admission. Loved seeing run Eldora back in 1990's. Was totaly up against the wall smacking the tire against the wall coming out of turn 2.. Priceless.

Jac is still probably the most exciting driver in all of sprint car racing. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he doesn't but he's ALWAYS worth whatever the price of admission is. Very few drivers are willing and able to do what he can do with a sprint car. I've never seen a driver who is more fearless than the Wild Child.
