Our 1996 diesel has a factory rebuilt engine. Ran fine then 1 day it just quit. If you let it cool down it will refire, but at about 170 degrees it will quit again. We have replaced feul pump, lift pump, crank trigger, rebuilt nozzels, new inside dash wire loom, computer, PMB (or what you call it) box and relocated to inside front bumper, added new ground wires. Engine starts right up and runs fine till 170 degress and quits. For a 20 year old truck(crew cab dually) it body wise is in very good shape. Someone out there must have had a similar problem. Help.

Put an sbc in it........that makes everything just great
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

The first thing I would do is pull the codes. A few auto part store will do it for free. Could be a timing issue or something funky. Bad ECU?
