Wayne passed over the weekend. He was instrumental in giving a lot of the oldtimers around this place their start in the Sprint Car game myself included. SprintCar a newspaper that he ran had a pretty good run about 20 years ago. Unfortunately he got hooked up with a partner who pulled the plug and ruined the whole deal which made a few subscribers a bit frustrated. What he did with the sport was a whole lot bigger than that and he was a friend to all. He introduced me to the Posse and all things good in PA and my visits with him were always the best, miss you ol' friend....

A nicer man I have never met. I echo everything Mike said. A big and kind man that will be missed by many. Rest in peace Wayne.

He did a great job with Sprint Car. It was a great asset for the sport. Christ's peace to his family and friends.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
