I really believe that the posse fans would be in for a real treat if there were an Outlaw show other than a big motor track. Perhaps Clinton County. I think people would easily find that the posse isn't as good as they think. Jmo, plus I would love to see posse vs Outlaws on a bullring.
Fast is sweet but, sweeter on dirt.

I think Path Valley would be the ultimate test. Since the 410 sprints returned there in 2012, Cole Duncan, Billy Dietrich, Brady Bacon, Chad Kemenah and Stevie Smith have been the winners. That isn't a very good record for the Posse. Especially when you factor in that Stevie Smith, although a Posse driver now, spent many years on the road racing against the WoO guys on all sorts of tracks. That experience is definitely worth mentioning. I'm pretty sure the WoO would beat the piss out of the Pa guys there. It wouldn't matter to me. I like to see the local guys do well but more than anything, I like to see a good race and I like to see incredibly brave and talented men put their skills on display in the most wicked, bad ass racecars in earth. I'd love to see this happen.

I just wonder if Path or Clinton have enough seating for an Outlaw show...

I may be wrong but I don't think the Posse ever beat the World of Outlaws at Grandview.....at least not recently. Now Lincoln is a different story. The Pa locals have pretty much had their way with the WoO in recent times.

With all due respect Slink, I think a bulling (to me anyway) is a 1/4 mile or less, like PV, Bloomington - or just almost all of the Indiana tracks actually.

Ok, i'm confused..I was always under the impression that the Outlaws were known for their horsepower & big motor programs. Also, every driver & crew member I talk to says that Lincoln isn't really a big motor track & the Outlaws haven't been super there in recent years. I think in the last few years, the Posse & the Outlaws have been pretty even at all the PA tracks

This got me very curious lol. Going through the schedule since Lincoln got back on it, it's Posse 13, Outlaw 11. Pittman is the only Outlaw to win at Lincoln. Making the arguement that PA locals win because the have better motors than the outlaws is confusing

While not arguing the motor program notion, one thing about LIncoln is that it seems to have something of a unique layout. While it is an oval, it has long straightaways for the size of the track. It has been proven year after year that it is a track that requires experience on to do well at. Even guys who run well at other PA tracks seem to take a beating at Lincoln for awhile before they figure the place out. I wonder if the WoO guys will start making some headway at Lincoln over the next few years as they start to build a notebook on the place.
No one will ever argue the uniqueness of the Grove though. Yeah its a big half mile but it's shaped like few other half miles I've been to. The only track of that size with compararbly long straightaways that I have been too is Lebanon Valley in NY (that is a crazy paperclip). While I'm sure the Outlaw guys do have more money overall in their motor programs...the best in PA probably have at least one motor that is purpose built to run the Grove (I am just spitballing, I don't know that for sure). I am a Posse fan, but I recognize that there is a home-field advantage in PA which includes more than one factor.

I'm Posse through & through, but even I can admit that our guys beat the Outlaws here because of a home track advantage to a certain degree. You can have all the experience in the world at a track, but if your stuff isn't top notch,it's difficult. You can also argue that this is why the Posse doesn't travel too well. The Outlaws have more seat time at some of the other close tracks. They are both great in their own way. I think there are a few teams from PA that could join the tour & be very good with a few seasons of experience. If Bobby Allen's boys can make features regularly, the 27, 48, & 21 could be very good

It would be cool to see an Outlaw show or even All Stars at Clinton County during their fair. They run the micros every year for fair week and its pretty cool to have to tow through the middle of a packed fairground to get to the track. Could be a good way to get some new people interested in the sport.

Clinton County did have an Allstar race a couple years ago. I'm guessing it was around 2009 or 2010. I think Dewease won it. It was that dusty I shit you not you could barely see the backstretch from the flagstand. If the right person put some money in that place it would be an awesome little facility. Right now its just a dump.
