2nd annual JIM KIERCE MEMORIAL Super Senior Invitational
On October 20th 2007 Ventura Raceway will host the 2nd annual JIM KIERCE memorial Super Senior Invitational. This race is formatted much like the Wags Dash except it is for the older drivers running the VRA Senior division. Like the Wags Dash, the entire purse is made up of donations by race fans and event sponsors.
The 2006 Inaugural race included nine drivers with a purse of just over $6,000. Dale Harwood led every lap and took home the winning purse prize of $1850. This race was a huge success; we are looking forward to another exciting race with an even bigger field of cars.
Kevin would like to thank everyone for the generous support last year, as well as thank everyone in advance for their support this year. For details on donating to this years event you can contact Kevin Kierce @ [email protected] or you can mail a donation to Kevin Kierce 7519 Yarmouth Ave. Reseda Ca. 91335 or just stop by Kevin’s trailer at any of the upcoming VRA events here at VENTURA RACEWAY.

Last year the race was limited to drivers 60 yrs and older. Will that age limit stand for this year or is it going to be open for all seniors. Is the format like Wags (non-main event winners only)?

This years race will not be age restricted but will include only VRA seniors with one win or less wins that have competed in a large majority of this years races.
I will have a list of invited drivers post soon.
