I was wondering if Kerry Madsen was going to run the full WoO series this season? I haven't heard or seen anything on this subject. Be ashame if he didn't but it's not my call. Thanks for the info.

UPDATE #1 - FACT - (1-4-16 @ 7:50 am CST) - This rumor is now FACT. Kerry Madsen confirmed this rumor with a few recent posts on his Twitter page (@kmr29). He stated that the Keneric #29 team will be running the majority of the World of Outlaw events and "will do other events that make sense to our team". He stated that he will be racing in the Mid-West quite a bit as well. Madsen stated that his race schedule will be posted soon.

RUMOR - (12-21-15 @ 6:50 am CST) - I've been sitting on this rumor for a few weeks now looking for more information but haven't seen anything solid.

This may be old news to many of you...I've heard that Kerry Madsen will not be on the World of Outlaw tour next year. I'm hearing that he will be taking on a schedule more like Brian Brown's...a true outlaw schedule. He has yet to commit to the WoO tour for next year, so this rumor is looking more like a fact. I have seen where there is a paint scheme change coming. I saw a photo of a few tail tanks painted brigh red...which would indicate a probably sponsor change as well. Looks like Knoxville, and the midwest, will be even stronger than last year with the addition of the Mad Man.

Hope he comes in and runs Ohio Speedweek, and maybe a few other All Star shows too.

I think I read something on Twitter that American Racer was pulling back on sponsorship. Not sure the truth, but could be the reason for the more regional schedule.

The All Stars better step it up as in like the NSL if they want guys like him to travel here & run. Guess it depends on where the team is based but I don't see it happening Jeff. I could be wrong. If he can hit advertised races with NSL & Knoxville for the end of year checks I only see him coming for the big show.

Now will he come & run it since the Big E is back on the Speedweek schedule & it be a tune up for The Royal ?

Would be a nice addition !!!

Ya, that's a good point. Be neat to see him tow here for at least AS Speedweek. Maybe I'm biased towards the All Stars, based in part with Tony owning it and them bringing on Artic Cat has titk e sponsor....but I really think the All Stars and the NSL are on par with each other, maybe even a little above the NSL?

All Stars have the name but in no way has an end of year point fund like the NSL. I kept asking some on here what some of the guys that ran NSL & Knoxville made last year & never got an answer. Guess I could look it up myself.

I think if the All Stars had a payout like the NSL you'd see a few more Pa. guys & maybe even some Indiana guys put a wing on. If I seen right 15th in points payed 15 grand.

Here is what the guys earned last year in the NSL for purse and point fund. Gotta remember this is only for 26-28 races. Plus you add on what guys made at Knoxville and that is not too bad if you look at the small amount of races.

Money Earned (NSL Members, Does not include Tow)
$147,700, Danny Lasoski (Big Game Motorsports)
  $86,950, Ian Madsen (KCP Racing)
  $76,625, Tim Kaeding (Lunstra Motorsports)
  $68,000, Terry McCarl (TMAC Motorsports)
$61,525, Bryan Clauson (Matt Wood Racing)
  $59,961, Bill Balog (B2 Motorsports)
$54,450, Brian Brown (Brian Brown Racing)
  $38,200, Lynton Jeffrey (Vortex Racing)
  $35,000, Mark Dobmeier (Jimco Motorsports)
$32,600, Brooke Tatnell (Barry & Vivian Lewis/TK Concrete)
  $31,825, Austin McCarl
$31,800, Matt Juhl, (Don & Terresa Juhl)
$24,750, Dusty Zomer (Todd and Susan LaHaise)
$24,425, Tasker Phillips (Kyle & Susan Phillips)
  $20,350, Craig Dollansky (TKS Motorsports)
$18,475, Dakota Hendrickson (Competition Technologies/Harley Van Dyke)
  $12,275, Brad Loyet (Loyet Motorsports)
  $9,725, Davey Heskin (Butch Maxwell)

Here is the All Stars minimum owners point fund for 2016 as put in their membership application. Not sure if this will get increased with the new title sponsor on board.

1. 35,000

2. $20,000

3. $15,000

4. $10,000

5. $8,000

6. $7,000

7. $6,500

8. $6,000

9. $5,500

10. $5,000
