That the factory is sending out the same frame consistantly I can believe. But, what takes place after it's delivered? I do know that when Gambler hired Wolfgang to win the WoO Champioship in the Gambler house car, he was up against Karl and Steve who were also running Gamblers. The difference was that Karl was making modifications to the frame. Doug also wanted to make pretty much the same modifications and Gambler said NO. And there aren't many that know more about frames than Doug Wolfgang. They wanted their customers to see a factory frame get the job done just as it came in the box. Wolfgang finished a very close second to Steve, and was fired for not doing the job he was hired to do. Doug harbored no ill feelings towards the Gambler people. He understood it wasn't his business to run. So...what I'm getting at is this. Is Freddy making any modifications to the frame? That would tend to make some think that they are getting custom frames. I'm not out there in PA to see, so I'm just asking. Freddy of course also has the kind of experience to know what if any modifications will make a frame better.

Supposedly Rahmer takes his cars to LPS Racers to be modified. They say Bobby Allen's team changes their frames around themselves. Haven't heard any rumors of Hodnett altering his frames, but you do hear about them going thru different frames until they find ones that work.

A former pro mod drag racer considering what is the best safest car available hinting at chicom stuff being less than patriotic or healthy for the sport/economy............ a clown???????????????????? Sounds like anything but a clown to me.

50 years ago if you drove a foreign street car you would end up in a fight at a bar. Now it's opposite. American rsprint car chassis dealer is getting bashed by people who like Chinese race cars better. There has to be a fortune cookie saying in there somewhere. Either way, best of luck to Don Reem. Everyone can agree that Schatz's J&J has been the fastest racecar in the country for a long time now.

I was there, and didn't even know Joey was in an XXX. That car was freaking fast! Weird no one has said anything. Did everyone already know this?
Joey Saldana dominated Charlotte this year. That was an XXX chassis that they picked up from Bernie and Indy Race Parts and tried for a few races at the end of the season. That chassis got to Indy Race Parts via MotorState (a distirbutor of XXX). So we had nothing to do with that chassis other than build it and send it to MotorState for distribution to dealers. One random XXX chassis. Not "multiple". Not "custom". And, clearly not slow.

Hadn't heard that either but Saldana and Speedway Engines also seem to run good on a wide open track that is so rough and fast that everyone is peeling the side panels off of their wings. But I am sure it was the frame that made the real difference. That is why XXX chassis dominates the top ten in Outlaw points every year.

Saldana was even more dominant on Saturday, the night he won. It was super dry slick. Nothing like the track on Friday (when he was leading and the side panel came off). Completely the opposite of what you are saying.

Too bad XXX wasn't instantly the winning difference for Kraig Kinser. We'll see how XXX chassis fairs again in the Outlaw points this season... Completely the opposite of what you are saying.
