i only make serious posts as i am  serious about the future and the betterment of  our Great Sport . I am only making these posts to apologise for those who attack me and  my plans and ideas for the future and betterment of our Great Sport . I will continue to post as long as  it takes to help you , the fans of our Great Sport to improve the tracks.

This is a response to the new Mr. Atlman, It sounds like you have some great ideas and I would like to offer to help in any way I can.

Here's a little story to give you some insight on the kind of connections I have in this sport we all love so much. 2 years ago I  made eye contact with a guy who I think was the promoter at a certain track, during the time our eyes met I was able to figure out exactly what he needed to do to make his track better for us,  the fans.  I could tell he knew I was pretty special and for that I gave him a thumbs up. Needless to say the racing has improved by 10 times since that night. I can not disclose the track or the promoter but chances are if you have seen any good racing in the last 2 years you can thank me, I don't want money, I do it for the fans. Speaking of Altman he reminds me of a guy I knew who used to claim on his resume that he has consulted several presidental administrations and various senators. I asked him about it once and he said he would write letters to them so "technically" he did provide consultancy to them. Talk about thinly shaving the truth. Altman seems like he takes a similar approach.

I used to consult with Cappy at Knoxville every week. I would say hi to him when he walked past me. That's the same kind of consulting and friendship Altman has with promoters he names in his posts.

You're taking yourself too seriously.  Nobody gives a damn about what you say anymore than the give a damn about what I say half the time but I'm OK with being ignored and don't make it into a drama.  I think most people bypass posts when they see that it's someone who's opinions irritate them.  Just chill out, read the posts and enjoy the conversation.  No need to try to reinvent the wheel.

I'm gonna disagree with you a little bit here. I think most people care much more about what you have to say than Altman. You're posts on this board add a lot of insight because you've actually done the things you say you've done. I'm from Pa and trust me, Altman has never done anything except organize a few autograph sessions, a few giveaways and try to start fan clubs that really served no purpose therefore hardly anyone paid to join them and they went away. I'm at Port Royal and Williams Grove every week, all the shows at Susky, Path Valley and Lincoln when Port Royal isn't running against them and just about everywhere else I can get to and the only time I've heard his name or saw anything from Racing Fans Direct all season was when he paid some fans general admission on Labor Day and the night before the Tuscarora 50. In 2014 I think he set up a table one time at Port Royal and gave away some 2 year old Knoxville posters that he obviously got for free. It's not like he's around every week doing giveaways and shit. Literally, you never hear Racing Fans Direct mentioned anywhere. The giveaways and stuff are nice of him to do and all but basically, he's not nearly as involved as he claims to be and that's where the issue is. He's been trying to get in with a track for years but because of his unrealistic ideas and all the shit we've seen on display here, no one wants anything to do with him. For some reason, he's failed to understand this and has himself convinced that the tracks want nothing to do with his ideas because they're greedy and only aim to take advantage of the fans because he thinks all these tracks are just swimming in money. Those of us in the real world know differently but what can I say...he's delusional. Don't compare yourself to him. Your posts are among the best on this board.

What really aggravates me about Altman is he claims he only wants to help all tracks and make things better for the fans & race teams. But then all he posts is how tracks need to improve their facilities and track prep and how the racing isn't good cause of the rules and expenses.

Post like that sure as hell do not make people WANT to go to the races. Not when a self proclaimed avid fan sees nothing but faults with the racetracks and the racing!

Never a positive post by Altman with outsomething negative added to it.

Another interesting fact about Bob Altman is his obsession with Sharon Speedway in Hartford Ohio. I was attending a regular show at Sharon this past summer and Bob was on hand doing the roving mic announcing job. It was quite shocking to see him there but it wasn't surprising at the awful job he did all night. As I was told by someone who works at Sharon weekly, Bob apparently was going to make the 4 plus hour drive from his home in Maryland to work weekly at Sharon because it is his "favorite" track. After one week behind the mic he never showed up again and didn't tell anyone he wasn't returning to help the track. A real class act!   

Cmon Bobby you have to defend your credibility ,  don't let them tarnish your name!

I am sorry this thread or any got away from topic . It was my intention putting this topic up to no longer bore the many avid readers of this message board with all this comedy that followed .It is my intention in the future to reply to or put up more worthy threads that may interest readers which was my sole purpose .I don't feel that I have to no longer reply to attacks on me that people here don't even know about .I can assure you that I have done more behind the scenes items then you are aware of and don't feel I have list them for anyone's satisfaction .Oh , no drama here just stating facts.

And further ,I am also sorry again for boring some of the Avid Readers of this Message Board with the topics that have gone off the topic. I will also post ,or not post more worthy threads in the interests of you , the Racing Fan. I feel that I have to mo longer have to reply to attacks on me from people here I don't know  about. I do more for you ,the Racing Fan than you are aware of and I don't  feel I have to point the many things I do for you ,the Racing Fan. Oh yes...it's too bad all that you've done hasn't been made public because you'd probably either have won the RPM Promoter of the Year or received NSCHoF Outstanding Contribution to the Sport Award or maybe BOTH!
