Anyone else notice in the boilerplate copy about the track they are finally calling it a 5/8 instead of a 1/2?
"Located on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Iowa, Knoxville Raceway is a 5/8-mile dirt track that hosts winged 305, 360 and 410 sprint car racing every Saturday night"
Everybody says they have a 1/2 mile, this helps Knoxville set themselves apart. I've been told it is 5/8, 12' off the outside fence.

They call it a 1/2 mile in the first paragraph and a 5/8 mile in the 8th paragraph. LOL

Hopefully MS Jacobs will bring even more attention to Knoxville , now maybe somehow they will make more renovations , improve the accomodations even more at this facility .
