With less than a month before the 2007 Wagsdash, photographer Steve Lafond from Tear-Off Heaven Fotos (www.tohf.com) is throwing down the gauntlet!
To make this years edition the best ever, he is challenging all Wagtimers, fans, drivers, pit crews, car owners, sponsors, officials, and even long distance fans to match his $100 contribution to the Wagsdash purse.
Last year, the challenge was set at $1000, an honorable gesture, and one that was met with some success. This year, a more modest challenge of $100 is intended to generate more interest, as this is indeed more affordable to the masses. Of course, if you can afford to contribute more than $100, by all means, please do so!
And just to spice things up a bit, for all those who match his $100 challenge, you will receive an 8 x 10 print of your favorite USAC/CRA star. That's right - just send Wags (www.wagtimes.com) a check for $100, and indicate who your favorite driver is, and after the Wagsdash, Steve will personally send you an 8 x 10 of that driver in action.
So let's get with it! Time is of the essence, and we want to make this Wagsdash the absolute best ever!
