NCRA Modifieds Head to Salina Highbanks Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – September 8, 2015 - With just four events remaining on the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division, we have a two-way tie atop the current point standings while the driver sitting in third is just 30 points out of the lead. All three drivers will look to put some distance on one another as the tour will make their second ever appearance atop the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma this coming Saturday night, September 12 in what is billed as the “NCRA vs USRA Showdown.”

Former tour champion Tyler Davis and defending tour champion Dan Powers sit tied atop the NCRA modified point standings where seven different drivers have seen victory lane out of the eight events held thus far this season. Josh Lanterman, who leads the tour with two feature victories and had the points lead heading into the just completed three race, Labor Day weekend, sits just 30 points out of the point lead in his quest for his first ever series championship.

The tour will head into tough territory, led by current Salina Highbanks Speedway NASCAR WHELEN Modified point leader Thomas Tilison, Jr. Tillison won this event last year in the series first ever visit to the famed Oklahoma Highbanks. Other track regulars expected include Tyler Wolf, Justin Shoemaker, Randy Frailey, Brett Hansen, Jonathan Beyer, Jeran Frailey, Delaney Erickson, Steve Holtzkamper and Barry Gifford.

This event pays $1000 to win and NCRA or USRA rules are allowed HOWEVER, there is to be no mixing nor matching of both rules.

Saturday night at the Salina High Banks Speedway will see gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Admission and pit pass prices are as follows General Admission to the grandstands for adults is $15; Kids 7-12, $5 and 6 & Under: FREE! Pit Passes for adults are $35; Pit Pass for kids 12 & under are $25 and 4 & under: FREE! Pit passes for veterans are just $25.
