That was the answer I expected from you Mr. Wizzard which is ok , but wouldn't it be nice to see better racing ? just maybe more passing ? some drivers proposed this in earlier releases & blogs, not me . These cars as you know are so locked down and balanced that everyone has basically the same car , the big difference is as you know the crew chief's and how to set the car up and yes track condition .

there already ARE more divisions in PA running non outlaw rules (358 / 360 / 305) and it cannot draw flies...because...pepole do not value it as a front gate division.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

There is one major reason why. $$$ The Outlaw shows pay at a minimum $10,000 if not more. Stick with a formula that gives your weekly drivers a shot when the big show rolls into town.

I'm sure somebody will correct me but I know they were running a different front wing setup.

the outlaws are the ones with all the money, each track should say run our rules or you don,t get a showw here! No that would not work.or would it? it seems like every 410 sanctioning body follows outlaw rules. why? Because sanctioning body members vote on rules. most local teams cannot beat the outlaws.so are these local teams shooting themselves in the foot in the long run?

wanted to follow up on this. I just looked at the current Knoxville rule book and woo rule book and they are the same now. Late spring 2014 Knoxville moved the wing around, but it didn't stay.

Your right but if there was more excitement , more passing , and money was saved by less cost of car or motor costs reduce somehow ? and if word got out that it was a better show fans would support it . I believe fans would like to see a better show ,I know I would wouldn't you ?

This was tried in the late 80" some drivers wanted different rules untill the Outlaws came to town. IT DOSN"T WORK!!!
The reason Central PA teams are so tuff against the outlaws is because of a few reasons.
The handicaping system in pa makes team work to finish in the top 5 every night. This keep the teams ( drivers, crew cheifs, and other crew  sharper each week. When the outlaws come to town, it is like running any other week!!
If the teams in Central Pa use the same tires, wings, and motors each week, that they would use against the outlaws. It makes they sharper, it makes there teams better to compete with the outlaws.
I hear people all the time say 410 sprints suck!! they don't pass, they are locked down............ Ask the 21 car!! Their driver gets every once from their car every night! He makes his team stronger! the crew chief on the 21 makes the driver stronger! On a team where each member drives, feeds of the others! they make each other stronger.
There has always been a handful to teams that are better funded than the other!! there will always be!!
the bottom line here is if you want to race better every night, finish higher every night, Win every night!!! Work on your program, work on your team!! make your team better.

Alright. Enough is enough. I've avoiding logging in for far too long but this thread is going to put me over the edge.
Why do you not seem to think racing is already exciting Bob? Is it because they aren't 24 wide at the white flag? The track is too dry/wet? Every racing series has field fillers, every series has nights where the track just isn't that great. It's part of the sport. If you can't seem to enjoy things as they are, then stop going to the races. I know you are trying to "improve our sport" with your recycled theories but either nut up and buy a track, or give it up. I say this all with as much politeness as possible which is far more than most have given you. Please just give it a rest. These weekly/ bi-weekly threads about Central PA racing are just unnecessary. The same people that gave you slack last time are going to do it again this time, and next.
As far as I'm concerned, there are fans in the stands and still paying for it the way it is. Do you think your neighbor is going to put up $30 to watch the WoO at Lincoln because they have better bathrooms or a T-shirt gun?
Rant over.

Mr altman just because you use the terms "locked down" and" balanced" does not mean you know anything about a sprint car and the way they're set up. I suggest you go read mandee pauch's blog and reconsider about the shit you post on here.

The flaw in that reasoning is that a WoO show is usually a windfall of $$$$$ for the track owner. Plus, track owners as a rule are usually a bunch of pretty independant buisiness men that would not put up a united front and challenge the WoO "might". The WoO rule book is always going to favor the WoO teams and drivers simply because the series is designed so that the member drivers can take the largest chunk of change home from each event. And right now, on the WoO tour there are just 5 or 6 drivers grabbing the bulk of that cash. And unfortunately those drivers have the wealthiest owners. Money rules!
