Weldon Buford is 16 years old from Alvin, Tx. He has been racing Micro Sprints since he was 9 Years old, and you better believe all of his past and present race cars have been themed after The General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard which was his and my favorite t.v. show growing up.
We moved Weldon up to the 305 Racesaver class one month ago. His first time ever in it, he jumped in , hot lapped it for two sessions, then went straight into his heat race and WON IT!! He has finished his first four Features in: 3rd, 1st, 5th, and 2nd place. We both have alot to learn and a long, hard road to get to the ASCS Gulf South 360 class. Time and patience!
