Looks like I won't make it to Knoxville this year.... 92 yr. old Mom comes first
How do people like The Cushion PPV? I know I'll miss the crowds, excitement & aroma of methanol....
But live feed could make it OK, if it works right

Cheers!

Cushion at Knoxville is very good IMHO (especially compared to dirt vision a few years ago). But I hear dirtvision is better.
it's not cheap for the nationals, but hell, its much cheaper than going your self (if u include travel expenses). It will not replace being there yourself, but much better listening or reading about it.
Good choice on taking care of MOM first. Hope she is doing good
cheers

Thanks, she's doing fine for 92, we just got done playing rummy
Arthritis makes it hard for her to do lots of simple things, like reach up to change a lightbulb.. but she still drives!.... slowly
Your comment makes me feel better about missing Nationals

Rev, Can you find a friend to throw dirt in your face while watching the PPV? Just like being there!

We get them on the laptop sometimes and patch it into one of the HDTV's. It's pretty decent quality, we'll probably get it next Saturday night for the 410 Nationals..

Cushion is better than dirtvision IMO. I can honestly say I've never had a bad feed with the cushion. On the other hand dirt vision has crapped out on me many times. Knoxville is a great facility, so I'm sure that plays a part in it as well. Whereas the dirtvision braodcasts are hit and miss and the quality often depend on the tracks the WoO are racing at.
