we are going to Knoxville for the week of the nationals but cant bear to leave our 4yr old black lab at home, our sitter options are getting limited, is there a excellent kennel/bording/doggie daycare, nearby that can keep him cool in the a/c and well cared for? we had a "pet resort" we occasionally take took to locally, gets along with most other dogs, ect

Pet Haven is on the east side of Knoxville (2000 E. Main St). 641-842-7414 I've heard good things about them.

already did that, and beings im 800 miles from the area, I was just curious what some racers and or fans might have for recomendations ? I dont know the reputation and not 100% sure selling a service is what im looking for , seemingly a buisness will naturally do that . (i already know they want my buisness) do i want to conduct buisness with them, if your a pet owner its a delicate subject as many of us know, just want whats best for my Hound, And, I just wanted some insite on good canidates.

The guy is just looking for local advice and he gets ripped. You guys just can't be nice? Race fans are supposed to be known for treating each other with dignity.

no really, its my bad for coming on here to find honesty, respectfullness, and a good source of information. I would assume many on here are pretty well mannered individuales in person, beings, the past eight/ten years I have been attending the nationals I havent met too many fools that like to run thier mouth at the nationals, thus, my participation in each year with enjoyment and a return visit the next,I love it, its the best week of the year, quite simply, we are a core group of people that are pretty passionate about a specific type of racecar, now since im a pet owner and have no children, AND my resources are limited for a sitter at home, im electing to post on here a question pertaining to someones personal testimony of a condition they may have had similar to mine?, I see alot of pets in Knoxville, due to our involvement thoughout the days activities I personally may not have the time to attend to my dog, I may be involved in something that takes more of my attention. as for the smart remarks Racing has become a family event for me by choice, Ive made it that way, or, I have to get out. my dog happens to be one member of my family ... he will be making the 1600 mile tow.

Are you just trying to find a place for him to go during the races? Depending on your camping situation you should be able to take him on a leash all day pretty much wherever you go and assuming your camper has AC, you could leave him there during the races. I'm pretty sure I've seen plenty of dogs at the midway etc during the day. If you plan on hanging out at the Dingus you can't bring him in there.
