Seems to me Justin Henderson and the BDS race team get very little respect. That's just fine. Given that they are a very under funded team, they have a group that works together very well, but more importantly, they have fun racing. This team will continue to make progress as they chase the gold at the Nationals. Every aspect of their program has made great progress, and gets the most out of their limited resources. The 15 team is the top dog at Kville, but I'm pulling for the little team that could potentially knock them off. If they had 1/2 the resources some of these teams have, the sky would be the limit.

They can't be that under funded. They run 2 cars in both classes, not many other teams could afford to do that.

Think it is called having a budget and sticking to it. Spending wisely and hard work goes a long way.

I'm not saying they are not a great team. thats obvious by the results. I just don't think you can be classed as low budget if you are fielding two top notch cars!

Brian Sundby runs his team on a budget and does not deviate what so ever, nor does he race when it makes no sense. If your running in the back with no chance of making more money, pull it in and save the equipment. So many teams race too much and when it dosen't serve them well in any circumstance, thats how teams go bust and in debt and or break there owners. Brian Sundby will not let that happen and runs a smart and very well maintained team. He keeps his investors and fans well informed and is constant in keeping his inner circle happy and having fun while at the race track. Theres many teams out there that could learn alot from the formula he and his team has choosen for success while being a low buck operation. And oh by the way a very nice guy who has integrity and keeps his word.

Who gives them "very little respect" and what's under funded in your opinion?
Last year everyone saw how capable this team was and it continued onto this year. Hope they do well again at the Nats, and possibly pull an upset.

You are mistaken. June 6 i watched them put a new motor in the 410 car after time trials. So they have at least 2 410's

Yes that is impressive considering that you have to run the same tire all night. I would say they're far from under budget, under budget would be like Mike Moore, AJ Moller, Allen Zoutte, Tom Lenz, Mike/CJ Houseman guys like that. Maybe compared to the TSR or KKR teams they can be called under funded but there's one thing you can call them for sure and that's bad fast.

So they do not start the night with a new rt rear? Cause by A main time everyones rt rear has TT and a heat race on it. I will look Saturday night & see for myself if they do not have a new tire to start the night.

Very rarely does the BDS Mototsports team have a new right rear tire on. Hell I don't think their 360 car has ever seen a new right rear tire.

My money is that they have new rubber on, too much money in those cars not to put on tires. Might not run a new tire in 360 hot laps but it's on there for group timing.
