Oktaha- Oklahoma – June 9, 2015 - This Friday night will be “Full Body Friday” at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Oklahoma as the big three-eighths mile oval will host the Missouri based MARS DIRTcar late model series as well as the Arkansas based Comp Cams Super Dirt Series in both series only appearance for the 2015 race season.
Close to thirty drivers from five states are expected at the Chris Smith promoted facility, which was bought over the winter by Longdale Speedway owner Jessie Hoskins. Chris is no stranger to the MARS DIRTcar series and officials as the former National Championship Racing Association late model official worked closely with the touring series when both series co-sanctioned events with each other. Chris and MARS DIRTcar president Randy Mooneyham both have a good working relationship with each other so look for a very organized ran event.
Thirteen race cancelations due to Mother Nature has plagued the 2015 race season for “The Martians” and only seven events have been complete. After this Friday night’s event at Outlaw Motor Speedway, the other track owned by Hoskins, Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma will host the MARS DIRTcar series for the first time ever on Saturday night.
Two-time and defending series champion Tony Jackson, Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri will lead the MARS DIRTcar series into the “Sooner State” this weekend and currently sits atop the point standings. Other drivers expected to compete on behalf of MARS DIRTcar series include: Justin Asplin, Brandon McCormick, Jeff Roth, Jesse Stovall, Jason Hughes, Josh Hughes, Randy Roth, Leroy Johnson, Brantlee Gotschal and a good shot Will Vaught will also make an appearance.
The Comp Cams Super Dirt Series is led by current point leader Jack Sullivan of Greenbriar, Arkansas. Two-time and defending series champion Kyle Beard is also expected, as are Robert Baker, Clay Fisher, Timothy Culp, Shannon Scott, Chandler Petty, BJ Robinson, Tommy Surrett and Allen Murray. It will be Comp Cams Super Dirt Series first even appearance at Outlaw Motor Speedway.
A host of Oklahoma and Southern Kansas drivers are also expected to compete in at least one of the two Oklahoma events. They include Gary Gorby, Brandon Morton, Cliff Morrow, Kip Hughes and several more.
This event will pay $3000 to the winner and $400 just to start the feature finale.
Also competing on “Full Boy Friday” will be the tracks Grand Nationals, IMCA stock cars and pure stocks.
Adult general admission tickets are just $15 for adults; $10 for seniors and military; $5 for ages 6-12 and children 5 and under will be admitted for free. All pit passes are $30
