I am a big fan of world of outlaws and the all stars i just dont like going to shows where there is no passing for the lead and make it an exciting race for the fans to go to the dash does give an extra race for the night but with it like it is now the winner of the dash starts on the front roe and 9/10 will win the race we need a better solution to make it more exciting

watch the videos listed below from WOO on 6-5-15 and Knoxville on 6-6-15. It is true that Danny led the whole race but there was all kinds of passing and battles behind him. The WOO race was about as good as they get.

Greg Hodnett started on the front row and won tonight with the All-Stars at Bedford and I don't think anyone left disappointed. Track was great, racing all over the place. Lucas Wolfe came from 21st to 5th.

I must say, I was a big Goodyear proponent because the racing was outstanding for the most part on them.
This year, it seems the racing has been very good on the Outlaw tour, the Grove has seen much better racing, and sounds like the All Stars are having some good racing as well.

I think I can help. If you're a fan of competition, passing, and side by side racing you should really attend non wing shows.

I agree on one point, not a fan of the dash...just line the A up based on qualifying. In this day in age of parity, if you're only interested in battles for the lead it's probably best to stick with small bullrings where constant traffic is at play. This past Friday at the Grove, Kreitz was in a different zip code after starting on the front row, but by lap 18 Buckwalter tracked him down and passed him only because Donnie caught lapped traffic. Having said that, there was very good racing further back in the pack. IMO a good race doesn't necessarily have to involve a battle for the lead.

it gets old seing the winner come from the front roe and walking away with the race yes it is good to see drivers make a charge through the feild i went to the 2013 knowxville national and that was a good race yes shatz did win but he started 24 so he proved that they did not need to start on the front roe to win the race

Get rid of qualifying pill draw for heat positions do a redraw for top 8 for the A and roll from there. The qualifying part of the outlaw show is the worst part. Its dumb if you finish 2nd in your heat you can still start like 17th in feature and if you finish 6th in your heat you can still start 10th.

What drives me nuts is if you don't qualify for the A main in your heat, you basically get your qualifying spot back in the A-Main, if you make it through the B-main (Minus the top 8 from the dash). My opinion is that if you make the A-Main via the B-main, you should start in the 21-24 spots.

Exactly you should be rewarded for how you race not how you qualify! I dont know who came up with the idea of getting you qualifying spot back but its so dumb! Look at Schatz he has a bad night qualifying starts way back and charges his way up. Much more exciting to see that then a run away victory.

they should use a pill draw for the heats then use passing points to determined the a main line up then invert that by 6 the last 4 starters should be out of the B

All you people need to buy your own track and then hear constant complaining for no reason. No one format is perfect. If you pay attention, you will most of the time see a good race. Lighten up and enjoy it instead of constantly looking for flaws.

Last I checked, forums were created for people to express their opinions & share information. Maybe if this bothers you so much, you should stay off this website.

I think the only way to do it right is to start with a race to the pit gate. You sign in first, you get to qualify first. There, done. Total team effort.

I think the ASCOC Format does a good job of rewarding both qualifying and a heat race. You also qualify against your heat race, which saves teams from having to worry about the track slowing way down during the progression of qualifying.

I grew up with dirt sprints & mods starting heats & mains with the 10 fastest inverted. Now that was exciting. Of course you need 15 laps in the heats. I could get more interested again, if there were a few more laps !

I attended the Friday night race in Nebraska. It's safe to say they have a pretty good product! I don't see that quality of racing and intensity anywhere else I attend

I agree, if you are complaining because the winner started on the pole at I-80 on Friday, you need to find a different sport because that was one hell of a race! Knoxville was no different. Yes, Danny was in another zipe code but the battle for 2nd-7th was unreal!
