I'm sure something has been posted already, but I haven't seen a schedule for Saturday's event. Is one available? The website says Front Gates open at 3:00 and racing at 5:30. I believe this is the "regular" schedule for all events. This Saturday being a "Special Event", I was wondering if there were any changes to the format. Have details been provided as to when the back gate opens, driver's meeting, wheel packing & hot laps, qualifying, heats and mains? I've had some ask me, and I don't have any solid answers. Thank you in advance for your help!

Doug.
I have not seen the information posted that you are looking for. I would call the office, they would probably know. But if its on our regular weekly schedule then...
Pits open at Noon.
Front gates open at Three.
Wheel Pack / Hot Laps Three thirty.
First Race at Five thirty.
I would think we would revise that for Qualifying, probably at five or five thirty. Then run heats and possibly have an intermission for Track Prep, run semi (s) and the main with a break between.
There might even be a track prep break after Qualifying and before the heats.

I talked to Kevin Montgomery last night regarding USAC format.
I will speak to Jim Naylor today regarding schedule and any changes to their regular operating proceedure.
Scott and I will put out a final press release tonight and include any of that information that we can confirm.

I would suggest arrive early, lots of old time fans are wanting to attend, the good ole days are back for at least one night at Ventura
I don't think this is an exageration, this is the biggest sprint car race at Ventura (or at worst ties for the first ever sprint car race there), and even rivals turkey night grand prix.
Sure would be cool, if USAC, CRA and Jim could grow this into something like what Calistoga has, or even have a full fledged USAC National Event when the midwest guys come out west, well I can at least dream.
